I love this hotel. Its has such a cosy feel, its always very clean and even though its next to the train station, noise is never an issue. Breakfast was also delicious.

Great service from the team. Didn’t realise when booking that the hotel is owned by the YMCA and operated as a social enterprise. Brilliant to see a hotel ran by apprentices who clearly have a passion for the hospitality sector. Keep up the good work 👍

Every member of staff we encountered was so polite, friendly and helpful in particular ALEX who would go the extra mile
It was a quiet place to stay which was warm, quiet and everything was close at hand.
The menu was limited in choice but was very tasty and enjoyable.

Nice hotel good food and friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are very nice too. Unfortunately the bathrooms let it down. The shower screens are too short so water goes everywhere and floods the bathroom and the sinks are not bathroom sinks, they are designed for small toilets and there are no hooks on the doors. They are so small you can't get the kettle in to fill it up and if you do something like washing your face, again water goes everywhere, not good. Shame because the rest of the hotel is lovely.

My one complaint: not enough sockets for hair dryer etc and in the wrong place. Kneeling on the floor to dry your hair is not fun!

Nobody on the desk on arrival had to walk around looking needed to phone if getting back to hotel after 10pm so porter could open door. So called bar in darkness when we got back at 10 very limited drinks. Room needed blinds and blackout curtains to keep light out. A overpriced hotel will not be going back.
