What an amazing stay. One of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. This was an amazing weekend. Staff are amazing and nothing to fault at all.

Really good stay for a night to celebrate my birthday. The lady on reception gave us complimentary drink voucher as a birthday gesture. Really comfortable night! Great location.

This hotel has this wonderful old air charm with the high ceilings and architecture. However, the Staffa and services are new age and first class .the balance between everything is perfect. Drinks and food excellent. The bed is so comfortable and just love this hotel and would stay again

If you’re going here for a spa day or to use the facilities you HAVE to either book a treatment or make sure you try and book a reservation at the time of booking the room for your 1 hour complimentary time slot (even this won’t guarantee use). We were really disappointed to not be able to use the facilities.

Genuinely not worth the money I paid. Getting what you normally get in all other hotels (even the lower budget options) was a nightmare. The spa staff refused to supply robes and tried to charge us to rent robes - the reception staff then made us aware they should be supplied for free - felt a bit strange for a more expensive hotel.
No still water was supplied to the room - we were given 3 sparkling water bottles when myself and my friend cant drink this - getting our water supplied was such a challenge and required a trip down to reception!!
We ordered chips for room service - we requested nor mal chips and mentioned we could not have truffle - after almost an hour of waiting they bought us Truffle chips so we had to wait and have them bring the normal ones - which were served only half full (looked strange as a portion). The room service waiter also ran away as he handed the plate to my friend at the door.
Overall - for the price we paid DEFINITELY not worth this hotel. I would much rather spend a little more and stay at Edwardian

After spending the most I have probably spent on a 'superior twin room' it was the smallest room I have ever been given. On the sixth floor - came out of the lift to basically a smell of drains, rang reception to ask them how to turn the aircon down - which they said they would do and then turned it up - so sweated all night. Sixth time I've visited and most unsatisfactory one so far. Very disappointed

The Midland was a lovely stay for my friend and I this weekend. The restaurant and bar area is lovely, and the room itself lovely.
The bed was really comfortable and I loved the Elemis products in the bathroom, and thick fluffy towels. The hour in the spa was a nice touch.
However there was a dodgy looking brown stain on the carpet next to the bed, a s*x dice under the bedside table, and fake tan all over the net curtain. The grout in the shower could also do with a clean as it was very dirty.
Finally the sound proofing wasn’t great and we were woken multiple times in the night with drunk people walking down the corridors.
