Quite comfortable and respectful

From check-in to checkout - all very enjoyable and a great meal in the restaurant

Relias Henley is very well located for the town centre, yet the rooms were super quite. Staff were very friendly especially the more mature staff. The hotel is close to the waterfront, and has very limited parking ( 2 public bays at the front) meant check in and check out ( moving bags in and out) was a fiddle. We got our step count up simply walking to the car and back, That aside great hotel , breakfast was plentiful and great value for money , evening meals were good although would have preferred a wider choice . having said that its super close to many other eating options,

We had a great stay. Comfy and spacious room with lots of small touches from the staff.

A lovely hotel but sadly the river view rooms come with considerable morning noise from traffic. Also staff did really explain hotel facilities and to the extreme we were told that breakfast was only 7:00am to 9:00am!!

We found all staff to be excellent and really helpful with nothing being too much trouble. Our room was lovely and very clean with a turn down bed service. The breakfast was excellent and breakfast staff were particularly good. Great location and not too far to walk to wherever you need to get to in the town. The only negative I would say was the noise from the local pub which was loud until the early hours but that’s not something the hotel can control and it was a Saturday night. Next time we would look to book a courtyard room away from the main road and river if travelling at a weekend.

A quick stopover, sadly no decaffeinated coffee at breakfast. Dinner was very good though.

Character building in a great location, nice bedroom with a comfortable bed and high quality linen and excellent restaurant all contributed to a very enjoyable stay. What made it special was the staff, We were a party of nine which included one disabled person. The restaurant staff were truly amazing in the assistance given. 10/10 Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area !

Just spent one night at this fabulous hotel. The situation is perfect, on the river and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants and the railway station. The hotel is extremely friendly and all staff could not do more to help. Our welcome on check-in was exceptional and lovely being shown to the room personally. The rooms had every comfort and had fabulous air-conditioning as we arrived on an extremely hot day. We ate both in the restaurant and the bar and prices were competitive and all the food we had was excellent. Cannot praise this hotel enough and We will certainly return in the future.

Position

Just returned from a brilliant two night stay at The Relais, despite the endless rain. We were joined by family who were celebrating a special birthday and they were so delighted that we had chosen this hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble and you feel really at home in such a nice atmosphere. They were all so cheery, friendly and welcoming. We felt sad leaving them which is a real sign of exceptional customer service. The manager, Andrew, was very visible, friendly and so helpful, pre-empting our needs and going the extra mile for us which was very much appreciated. I would strongly recommend the restaurant, Dominic Chapman too. The four of us had dinner there on our first night, with superb food. Some creative choices along with nice touches. A well selected wine list with lots of choice, and lovely attentive staff. We also had a great breakfast on both mornings. A great selection of dishes, excellent quality ingredients, delicious pancakes and excellent hash brown. It’s a lovely property right by the river, immaculate, with beautiful decor and a really nice riverside walk right outside your door. We are looking forward to returning later this year and highly recommend.
