Great staff and it was a good location for my specific trip and easy access to Test River trout fishing spots. The coop grocery store a block away was convenient. Breakfast at White Hart was excellent. Dinner was good too. Some road noise in the large room I had due to exposure to road, but I still slept well on comfy bed. Everything important worked very well.

We stayed for 2 nights at the White Hart while visiting family locally. Staff were friendly and really helpful, location was easy to find and we loved the rooms. We had a twin and a double and both rooms were beautifully decorated and had plenty of space. We sadly didn't eat at the hotel, but menu looked great from what we saw. Will stay there again when back with our family in Hampshire.

Really lovely room with top end furnishing. Room in a converted stable block - our room was closest to the road which was really quite noisy. Next time would ask for one at the far end. Food was excellent. Thumbs up overall

We had one of the stable rooms, and it was pure elegance. It was spacious, comfortable and warm. We loved the room, especially the bathroom. Large shower, large tub and heated towel rack.
Continental breakfast was quite adequate to get our day started. A breakfast menu is also available if you want more.
We were also pleased to find a bus very nearby. Cabs are available as well.
Overton is a sweet little village. We found the coop staff to be very helpful, We had a delightful afternoon at the Red Lion down the street.
I would definitely go there again.

We had one of the stable rooms, and it was pure elegance. It was spacious, comfortable and warm. We loved the room.
Our only quibble was miscommunication about the breakfast. Our first morning we were told no breakfast was included, so we went elsewhere. When we stopped by the second morning, we were told the continental breakfast was included. It had cereal, juices, coffee/tea and rolls. It was quite adequate for our morning meal.
We were also pleased to find a bus nearby which was convenient to get us into Whitchurch to be with friends. Cabs are hard to come by and were much more expensive than we had expected.
Overton is a sweet little village. We found the coop staff to be very helpful, We had a delightful afternoon at the Red Lion down the street.

A great place with lovely staff. We stayed as we were going to Bombay Sapphire, the staff we very helpful with telling us that the bus was the best option at just £2 and the bus stop is just opposite the pub. The evening food was good, breakfast was very good with plenty of variety.

Stayed overnight after a trip to the Bombay Sapphire distillery. Staff have been brilliant from booking communications, through to service during our stay.
Our room was lovely, breakfast and dinner were delicious…and the whole place was really Christmassy! 🎄
