Excellent one night stay at The White Horse in Overstrand. Nice, quiet room, comfortable bed and quality towels. Excellent breakfast included. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

Large modern rooms. Family friendly pub. You can walk to Cromer along the beach.

Great stay at the white horse, we only atayed one night but the room was amazing and very worth the money. Great friendly staff and the food was great as we had dinner and breakfast! Child and super dog friendly too, very close to beach less than 10mins by foot perfect location. With only a 10mins drive to cromer pier.

Nice clean hotel. Good for people with dogs. Breakfast and service was good. Would be good to include a shower cap in the bathroom. Our room was very small, however the hotel was fully booked and luck of the straw I guess. Close to the promenade and sea cafe.

Room on top floor,hard to get to.food not up to standard as last time we visited

We booked for two adults and an infant and were given such a tiny room that the travel cot barely fit in it. It was on the top floor, and it was so hot that we had to prop the door to the hallway open at the beginning of the night to try to get some air flow, as the window didn't open much and the curtain had to be down as the room was in full sun. Of course we had to close the door at some point as we didn't want anyone to come in and take the baby! There must have been a festival or wedding somewhere nearby as well, as all we heard was the thumping of the bass drum and bass guitar until 11pm that night. Glad we only stayed one night! I'd avoid if you're not travelling alone in winter!

The pub and location were most satisfactory however I was most disappointed to have been placed in an attic room when discovering on checkout that only one other room had been occupied. That tells me the staff do not wish the best for their guests. I had also contacted them days before I checked in informing them I would be travelling on my own as my husband had been taken into hospital. You would have thought they would have looked after you.

Myself and boyfriend had a lovely break here , friendly helpful staff , nice room and fab food , will deffo return to this gem of a pub 😃

Our 4th or 5th time staying here. We keep coming back as the team are wonderful, the accommodation is good quality, great food in the restaurant, and it's a nice 45 minute walk into Cromer along the beach or cliff top path. We'll be back.

The room was clean and reasonably well presented. Some paintwork on skirting boards needs touching up, though it was in an area that is likely to suffer a lot of wear and tear, and it did not detract from an otherwise superb stay. Food was excellent and very enjoyable, though the desert menu was a tad expensive, so we only indulged on one of our four nights (we enjoyed three varied evening meals there). And it should be noted that a service charge/tip is added to each food bill. The site does not have sufficient customer parking, so we did what most other customers did and just parked in the street. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location was handy for the beach, and only about five miles from Cromer. For those wanting to travel by public transport, there are excellent bus services from Overstrand to Cromer, Sheringham and beyond, with easy connections to places like Norwich. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend The White Horse.

Very comfortable

Quiet location and walkable to the sandy beach. Within easy distance to Cromer. Friendly staff. The breakfasts were very nice. Also it was nice to have coffee/tea/hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. Water was lovely and hot for shower/bath.

Overstrand is very quiet area , parking is just in the road but was no problem. Lovely food, excellent value for money.
