I recently stayed at Travelodge and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. A standout part of my visit was the exceptional customer service, especially from Jinaan, who was incredibly helpful and attentive. She recommended trying the bar food which was very nice and the decor was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and the hospitality made it all the more memorable.

Good price, excellent location for my stay. There was a strange high pitched electrical noise during the night, which was quiet, but audible. There were also some noisy people in the corridors during the night. Probably the noisiest Travelodge I've stayed in, but it wouldn't put me off staying there again.

Absolutely ridiculous, do not stay at this place, booked a double/twin room. Ended up being given a disabled/accessible room, went to the reception and asked why and they said the “twin” room is the disabled/accessible room. Then lied about it being fully booked and said they can’t change the room, as I checked in front of the receptionist who barely could understand a word I was saying, there was plenty of rooms available but said it was me that chose this room and they could not change it. Will not be staying here again.

Very disappointing.
The area was not nice, it was uneasy to be in not very clean and tidy in the hotel. Key card kept failing which meant a track 5 floors and a hassle to get into the room.
Reception was not staffed and the number did not get answered. Staff told me I could get my invoice in the morning and then no one was there … I had to leave for my train.
Customer service was shocking and they kept fobbing me off to other departments.
My honest opinion… get a premier inn.
Travel Lodge is off the list of places I’d consider staying in.

Newley refurbished actually means ongoing refurbishing - leftover paint pot, brushes, laminates etc left outside room. Stunk of paint in room despite leaving window open all day whilst we're out. Poor cleaness in room - footprint on dovet, ripped bed frame etc.
Only upside is 5 mins from train station.
