I feel quite disappointed. For a 4-star hotel, the price is not cheap, and I can't believe they didn't provide a kettle in the room. We requested one, but they said the room we booked is "economy" or something similar, so they don't provide a kettle. I don't think this is reasonable—most hotels at a similar price point do provide one. I believe the price we paid we deserve a kettle.
If I had other options, I would never want to book this again

In general I’m very happy to use Scandic hotels. Generally good price, locations, quality, food, service. We did arrive on Sunday, very late, and in some places it means the on-site restaurant is closed. No problem, the staff helped us find places to eat and we had a good time. In general, restaurants close at 10pm in Finland, so keep that in mind. Friendly staff, very happy.

Substandard food, buffet with what tasted like canteen food, definitely not what you’d expect at a hotel. Breakfast was disappointing as well, Finnish standard but not thought for non-Finns as fit example you had to pay 4,5€ extra if you wanted a cappuccino or espresso, as many do for breakfast. Most things felt pre-made and store bought, the few small paistries and croissants just edible. Definitely not of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had, although not the worst. The rooms were okay, but maybe an update wouldn’t harm as they’re quite dark.

Rooms: are clean but kind of old fashioned - and you can’t use Netflix / share your mobile phone screen, which is unfortunate.
Sauna: what really bothers me is that the sauna is “equipped” very carelessly (if you can even call it “equipped”): there’s no real room for relaxing after the sauna and they don’t provide with water / cups (not even thinking about tea) in the sauna area. Also, the showers are quite disgusting with rubber matts (under which I’ve seen crawl some insects).
