Claimed 4 star hotel presents with a room with broken and hanging dangerous sockets, missing lamp shade with exposed wires in the bathroom ( water exposure risks ), broken handle on a door that has no functionality, small flat pillows that are not comfortable.
Bathroom fittings - holder for the handheld shower kept slipping down when the water is turned on, hence all we could get was a shower to the hips, unless you used one hand to hold it up.
Central heating does not work. Rooms are provided with room heaters. Our room heater had to be changed once because it started to spark out of the front grill each time the thermostat would cut off or turn on .
Price range : Price charged on accor website claims including all fees and taxes ( as per confirmation email) to be paid at hotel. On arrival at hotel we were asked to pay city tax additionally.
On asking explanation, it is dealt with by staff with reduced ability to communicate in basic English.
Hence , when you arrive at the end of a long journey, you have no option but to accept.
The property is dated and may benefit from renovations .
Recommendations ; Avoid and stay at a less expensive adagio access (3 star) in the nearby area.
Suggest the hotel to reduce your star rating.

Nice location, about ten minutes away from metro at La Defense. Small public parc in front, two shops around. The only handicap was the breakfast. Cheap sausage and dubious scrambled eggs just didn't fit. Avoid them and you're good. A small choice of charcuterie, fruit and bakery is also available. Service staff are very very friendly, trying to help 24/7.

1. Air conditioning was not working. So the rooms are suffocating and hot, we have to keep the window open all day.. I was not able to sleep well for most of the nights during my stay. after the two weeks of stay we were informed that it was not working for last 5 years or so, but neither at time of booking nor during first two weeks of stay the same was shared with us. We were told that the same will be fixed soon
2. No timely weekly cleaning even after few requests
3. Lots of dust due to ground floor repairs
4. Most of the time of stay one elevator was not working
5. Microwave of the room was not working correctly, even after complain was not replaced
6. Unsecured internet causes no laptop connection. Was not able to attend early office meetings and work on weekends on laptop.
7. We wanted to do an early checkout by one day. Informed the front desk a week before and settled our payments 2 days before the checkout but on the day of checkout the hotel manager started demanding one day more money. None of the front desk ever said that we need to pay one day extra during our early checkout but the manager asked.

For 220 euros, it was not a good hotel. Someone entered my room at 11pm. Maybe other guests given the wrong room number and key. I paid extra for breakfast. I was told to bring a tray from the room. I was made to wait along with 6 other people in front of reception with the tray so they would give us what we ordered the previous night. I just left with no breakfast. For that price, even in Paris, I don’t want to feel like I’m in a college cafeteria.
