This is my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, I was impressed by the welcoming and attentive staff. In particular, Hasin truly stands out. He pays attention to every detail, making sure that all guests are well taken care of and that every meal is a pleasant experience. Reception several flights of stairs up.No lifts therefore unsuitable for elderly or those with heavy luggage. Hotel was being refurbished at time of visit (early December 2024) of which we had no prior knowledge. No bar or dining available too. WiFi down for hours. Location excellent for La Defense Arena and RER connections.

It is easy to rate Ritz Carlton or Hilton. Right? It is less easy to rate a place that you visited the first time, in emergency and on a budget that allows not even a small room in Paris.
But this is exactly what many tourists are searching for. To sleep, wake up and be suprised.
All this and more you will experience at Arena Hotel La Défense
Expect minimum for the money invested. And then, you will be supprised.
Still works on go... still no elevator from the ground level.
But since you are there. Enjoy the brand new view...

Room is spacious and bright and well laid out. However there's too much dust and my room smelled mouldy/stale, consequently I had a sore throat and was ill for my entire stay.
Other than that, although hotel is located in a convenient location to public transport to quickly get into central Paris (3 stops by RER A), there is nothing to do in the actual town the hotel is located in. Further, the hotel can only be accessed by 4 flights of stairs, which was a shock as I had heavy luggage. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Looks not really inviting from the outside impression, but inside a totally different impression. Nice and silent room. Breakfast had a nice variety of choice.
Although in Paris, I however wonder if the price is reasonable. But maybe a problem in Paris generally.
