Lovely accommodation in spacious grounds with a swimming pool and blissfully quiet. Large rooms, well thought out, comfortable bed, large bathroom. Homemade breakfast. Very friendly host who speaks fluent English. We also had dinner which was lovely. This accommodation is practically on the Loire Cycle Route and very close to the EV3. A few kms into villages and towns and there is a lot to do in the area so a good spot for a two night stay.

Sophie always makes us feel so welcome and it's a pleasure to stay there. We like everything about it, the big garden with relaxing areas and the excellent pool. Breakfast outdoors on fine days is a bonus and the home cooked evening meal should not be missed when available. Our 3 night stay was too short.

Friendly hostess welcoming us in her house and beautiful garden. Sophie was very attentive to the needs of her guests. Looking forward to visiting again.

This place was a fabulous way to end our holidays in France. The Chambres is run by a lovely lady called Sophie who ensured our meals came from local produce. All meals were beautifully presented and delicious. The village was a delight to drive to, approaching a Chateau on the hill (not always open to the public) and we had to drive down a laneway to closed gates. We had to ring and the gates opened so we could park the car. Our room was upstairs and were lovely and quiet. We in no way felt as intruders and had access to the separate games room and lounge room upstairs. Access to all Chateaus were down the road and the lovely town of Orleans a half an hour away. Sophie was able to advise us about local sites, especially the Scottish town close by. We had a lovely two days there and certainly hope to come again and enjoy her lovely place.

We were looking for a truly "french" experience and were not disappointed. Sophie is in the process of adding new features to her country home; namely a new swimming pool which we used every day and a brand new petanque court. Our room was a delight being both spacious and full of light. She provided everything you could need. Breakfast was typically french and delightful. The evening meal was exceptional with the opportunity to share daily experiences with other guests. On our final night all 8 guests were surprised to see that Sophie had organised an opening celebration for her new petanque court. There was Champaigne and finger food followed by a game of petanque. Such a lot of fun. This was followed with a banquet of food for our evening dinner which was simply amazing. Her home is wonderfully situated to see all the Loire valley. You must go and stay there if you are ever in the area. You will not be disappointed. We live in New Zealand and we will be back again to visit Sophie and enjoy the "french" way of life.
