The hotel was ‘quirky’ - lots of ephemera around - pictures, ornaments etc. But that is why we chose it.The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.The lift was from an another era, but in a good way. The breakfast was ok. It was situated within walking distance of the main tourist destinations.

We loved this charming place. It was a great location, the staff was wonderful, and it has an elevator—tiny, but it was great not to have to walk our luggage up several flights of stairs. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely little hotel in the historic centre of Lille. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room itself comfortable and clean (superior double). If like me you don't like the anonymity of the big chains, this characterful three star is a perfect solution.

Close to both railway stations which while it is convenient there are a few beggars to contend with. I am a solo traveller and I did not feel overly concerned as there was a large security or police presence. Room clean bed comfortable.

Lovely old place with a classic cage elevator. Friendly desk crew happy to look after bags before and after stay. Great location and just minutes from Eurostar and even less from Lille Flanders, but beware the riff-raff in the neighborhood.

Great location for stopover when using Lille Europe or Lille Flanders, very easy walk from both. Welcoming, comfortable and the room we had gave a great view of the St Maurice church tower from the bed and the bathroom!

The hotel was convenient to walk to from the Eurostar station. It was easy to get to the main square for the Christmas market. Breakfast was good though there was a selection of cafes not too far away in which to get a café and croissant.
The room was small. There wasn’t much room to get in and out of the bed. The bathroom was large and airy.

This is a fantastic hotel in the rich tradition of European hotels. The public spaces are comfortable and welcoming, there were several couples playing card or board games upon our arrival. The Staff are very good, very helpful and always ready to offer directions or suggestions. The location is ideal, close to the main square, shopping and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and very clean.

It’s a very competitively priced boutiques hotel, as they say in politically correct English. The location is good, and the staff is supper friendly, but if you are looking for more convenience and better amenities, I would choose something else.

Check in was a little uncomfortable as we were told that we owed for two nights even though we had already paid for one. We weren’t given any information ie Wi-Fi code etc no breakfast included even though it was a hyped price due to rugby World Cup time
