My stay at the hotel was terrible, it was too hot in the summer and there was no air conditioning or fan, they didn't change the towels, terrible hotel.

No a/c in the middle of the summer. No fan. Windows open, but no screen, so the bugs come in and it’s very unsafe for children. The sink was clogged up in our first room, so they moved us to a room with a clogged toilet. Staff was ok, but I’d never stay again. Terrible experience.

The hotel is just outside of the main city centre, however for a budget hotel it was very good. Good uber service available. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were a bit small for 3 grown ups to share, but all in all a very nice budget hotel.

Room was tiny. Walls easily transmitted sound from other rooms and corridors. Late at night cars were drag racing and doing donuts in car park next door at windmill museum making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was ok but only one waitress who couldn’t cope with serving and clearing so dirty plates and cups everywhere. Plus points were the reception staff friendly and location close to museum of modern art. Plenty of free parking.

We paid close attention to the things described on Expedia such as bottle of water in the room, Large tv with premium channels- but found this not to be the case.
The room was quite dirty and there were bugs in the room. It was also very noisy. We were right by the lift too. There were no sound proof rooms as described!

This would have been a reasonable stay if i had only booked 1 room. My family group had difficulty checking in and i was informed i had made mistakes on my booking. We were charged incorrectly for our rooms with no offer to resolve this. The hotel was clean and adequate for our stay.

Hotel was pleasant and in a quiet area.
Rooms were decent, beds comfortable and bathrooms ok.
Reception was quick with friendly staff.
The big downside to this hotel is distance to the centre of Lille. As its not served by a nearby Metro you have to use taxis to get to the centre at a whopping 35 euros for a one way trip which takes around 15 minutes.
If you are visiting Lille with the intention of spending time in the centre I would recommend a hotel in a more handy central area which although more expensive than the reasonably priced Kyriad Lille Est Villeneuve d'Ascq work out cheaper by the time you factor in taxi fares. If there is something local to this hotel you are visiting (within walking distance) then its a great place to stay.

Great hotel done exactly what we needed. Wouldn't really on the area around it as it's terrible. However the hotel is great and we just got a taxi into Lille every night. Staff were lovely and spoke great English...
