A very interesting and characteful building in a historic and picturesque village. The rooms vary quite a lot but ours was a good size and modern. The only problem is there is no onsite parking just an insecure public car quite a walk away on the other side of the canal. Overall a very nice place for a short stay.

Village is very beautiful really and romantic. Suitable for couples and a little bit less for families. The rooms are really overpriced. Staff very friendly.

I was not happy with my stay, I paid a decente amount 95€ and ended up with a very small room - the alcove, just enough space to drop my luggage, no view I to the canal and no WiFi, as promised in the booking - not recommended!!! At the breakfastbuffet there was mould at the ham and the Joghurt was expired. As I gave feedback regarding the WiFi, they didn't apologise, just said there is No WiFi in the back building. It's sad to pay a decent price of 95€ for a tiny room, no view, no WiFi - not according to the prescription beforehand.

Perfect place to sleep

Disappointment... To access the room you have to go through a somewhat gloomy alley (presence of trash cans). Upon entering the building, a very steep staircase to access the first floor where our room was located. It was well decorated. On the other hand, there were like little grains of sand here and there in the bed, and the bathroom deserves to be redone. You have to force it to close the shower door, the tap moves and has been installed upside down, the trash can no longer opens, and no soap. What is annoying is the breakfast: we arrived in a room in which it had not been cleaned for a long time, there were still dirty dishes in the sink, the brioches at our disposal had been out of date for a month, there had been toast in the toaster for a long time, and the contents of the fridge seemed suspicious to us. The coffee maker didn't work because it was full of grounds and the filter had to be changed. There was a dirty mop on the floor. Hygiene to review. So we turned around and had breakfast at the bakery. The price is therefore too high for the service. We informed the owner that the breakfast had not turned out as we had hoped, and he did not ask for more information. This accommodation was featured on TV a few years ago in a program on the theme of guest rooms, it seems distant, it's a shame.
