The first night we stayed we would award top marks, but on or return 4 days later the second room was not as good. It was not as clean, the shower screen support was loose, the tv was hanging and not working properly. The furniture on the terrace was very dirty, we cleaned it before we could sit down. We were served a meal in our room, but thought that the dirty dishes would be removed, but they remained until we signed out

Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful.

A very conveniently situated hotel in a pleasant, peaceful setting. The room was well-equipped and comfortable, and the service friendly and efficient. Our meal in the hotel restaurant was superb and very good value for money.

Great hotel in wonderful surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were at a wedding and the reception was there as well so it was perfect for us. For people wanting more facilties or to be near other restaurants it is out of the way so you need a car to get to anywhere.

One night stop for us travelling back home ,so cooled of in pool .Difficult to find if you do not have the latest technology ,a few more signs please .Our stay good .

Bad start. Hotels,.com email showed address as Les Garennes sur Loire, which does not exist. Actual address Juigne sur Loire. Result an hour of stress and unnecessary driving. Also hotel needs to decide is it Loire et Sens or Fief de la Thiore. Depends which sign you reach first. Good things - well spec'd room, plenty of storage space and good shower and bed. But no A/C when temperatures above 30c. They did however promptly provide a fan which helped. Staff pleasant and helpful ( except had to wait five minutes for someone to arrive at check-in desk). Food - good but not exceptional. And a bit slow - 2 hours for a 3 course meal may suit the French way but not ideal. Breakfast good but not for 16 euros. Only hot food scrambled eggs and bacon. Location and setting good for a relaxing break but again, no sitting room where one could relax and read. Lot of TV stations listed would not open, including BBC world. Too tired to complain so perhaps our fault. Easy to find once you know the right location and good for Angers and travelling south.

My only concern was the WiFi! The rest was great! Quiet, great food, great bedroom and a fantastic team

Room was not ready when we arrived at 7:00 pm we had to wait 45 minutes and the pool and fitness center were closed which was the whole reason we were staying here

Hotel is very near to busy Angers and the motorway but in a quaint village, down a country lane and surrounded by woods . Staff are excellent, very helpful and genuinely look to assist in making stay as pleasurable as possible. Duplex room is huge and easily converts to ground floor and upstairs private accommodation. Dining is superb. Missed breakfast as had to unexpectedly leave early in the morning, which was a shame as the dinner had left us looking forward to more. The leisure pool is very good, but because of the underwater aerobic equipment, quickly becomes busy for swimming in a narrow lane. That said, the leisure facilities are brand new, exceptionally clean and in first rate condition. This isn't a cheap hotel, but you do get what you pay for, significant quality and service.

No air conditioning, but it was mild enough that it wasn't much of an issue.

This was a really comfortable hotel, that was quiet and restful, but beware you definitely need a car, otherwise, you'll spend a lot of money on taxis. My only complaint, is that a big draw of this hotel was the pool, and that closed in the early evening, so we couldn't utilize it after a day of sightseeing. The staff was extremely helpful.

We stayed for one night and made good use of the facilities, including the pool. The setting was great and the central gardens were very picturesque. The restaurant was closed for dinner, which we had been notified of in advance. But the breakfast was great. And reasonable.
