Centrally located within a few minutes walk to the main town. Very friendly and informative host. Beautifully decorated rooms fitting well with the era of castles in the region. Be sure to arrive early to get street parking if you're driving.

The most wonderful hotel!! Mary, the owner, is so helpful, generous, and kind. I wish I had stayed here longer, its one of my favorite hotels in France. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are newly renovated and beautiful. The price is very reasonable. It is a very short and pleasant walk to get to the center of Amboise, we were really pleased with the location. When we first arrived, we called Mary to ask where to park. She came out and helped us parallel park in front of the property. She is fantastic. Her english is also very good. She showed us around our room and the kitchen and gave us an in depth tutorial on how to use the coffee maker which was very helpful. We did not end up cooking in the kitchen but it was very nice to have one there. I would highly recommend.

A very good, quiet location within a short stroll of the small town of Amboise, just across the river. A warm welcome from the owner. Very comfortable, clean, and bright room, tastefully decorated. Bedding and towels are both good. A memory foam mattress, which is not my favourite, but that is a very personal opinion. A privacy curtain or blind up at the bathroom window would be far better than the voile curtain, which, with the bathroom light on, is see-through. However, that is a very small critique and easily rectified. Overall, this is a great little chambre d'hotes and we would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

An exquisite place to stay! If you are intending staying in or around Amboise then Villa Mary is special. We absolutely loved it here. Quiet but a very short walk to Amboise centre with it's array of restaurants and bars.
