Clean, comfortable, and centrally located — this hotel is a convenient choice for a short stay in Saarbrücken. I stayed here with family in September 2019, and it turned out to be a good choice for a short stay in the city. The hotel’s central location is a definite highlight. It’s easy to find and perfectly situated with plenty of restaurants and shops just around the corner. Whether you’re looking for a bite to eat or a bit of shopping, everything is within walking distance, which makes it very convenient. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the check-out process — or rather, the lack of one. Once you’ve checked in, you’re free to stay until 12:00 the following day without having to stop by the reception again. It’s a small touch, but it adds to the overall convenience. However, there were a few drawbacks. While the hotel offers its own parking area at the back, it was completely full during our stay. Thankfully, there’s a large parking garage right next door, but it comes at an additional cost of around €8 for an overnight stay. The room entry system is an interesting concept — you use a number combination instead of a traditional key or card. While it’s a modern and hands-free approach, the codes aren’t the easiest to remember, so you’ll likely end up carrying the card they provide anyway. Breakfast was another area where the experience fell a little short. It’s not included in the room price, and the extra charge of ~€11 per person felt quite steep for what was offered. Overall, the B&B Hotel Saarbrücken is a solid option if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay. While some aspects, like parking and breakfast, could be improved, the hotel’s convenient location and thoughtful check-out process make it a good choice for travelers passing through Saarbrücken.

Whenever I travel to Europe with my family I always look for a B&B Hotel, as they are great value for money for us as a family, the 24-hour check-in is very useful, and the price is very reasonable. The kids' breakfast is very good value, however, the adults are a little expensive for our budget (but it does look nice), if you offered sandwiches to go then we would definitely utilise that as generally we are mid travel so want to get going as soon as possible in the morning. Overall really good, very happy.

Staff do not care for foreign customers who travelled from abroad. They did not bother to have the room cleaned before check in although they tell us to check out by 12pm (which would mean they had 3 hrs to clean for the next customer). They made up wait over an hour following our check in at 4.30 for our hotel and in the end was still not done and had to offer us a different room after I had to ask. They clearly dont care for customers who prepay and do not value customers wellbeing. My parents were elderly and had to wait around for over an hour following a flight and a 2 hr car drive to the hotel from the airport. Absolutely ridiculous and do not plan on staying there again. To add to this the cleaner gave us attitude saying she's been busy when she's getting paid for this job. It was just a terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone. I plan on staying elsewhere next time. B&B Saarbruken is just not worth it.

A great place to visit. B&B Hotel Saarbrücken-Hbf is a modern relatively low-rise hotel straight out of the minimalist, supremely efficient playbook. The rooms are clean, functional and comfortable. No chintz here just a well designed pod. There is, however, a railway theme to the decor that reflects the central railway station, Saarbrücken-Hbf, that the hotel adjoins. Don't worry about noise as our room overlooked the railway tracks, the double glazing and insulation did the trick. The City centre is on the other side of the tracks, literally, and is a five minute walk away through the train station itself. The old town is further ten-minute walk - definitely worth a visit. So ideally placed for visiting Saarbrücken and ideally priced - well done.
