Great interior

Was under construction and we were offered a free upgrade. Comfy beds and excellent shower pressure. I really enjoyed the environment around the property. Will book again.

We had a wonderful stay. Rooms were gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect location for public transport and has some parking spaces for those who drive. Very unique hotel and each room was so quiet. We slept so well.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, the rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the amenities are limited, there was no AC in my room. Overall nice stay.

Dining options were great. Hotel is very nice and friendly. However, room smelt like cigarettes in the bathroom. Only downfall, really. Besides that great hotel.

Such a fantastic hotel. Staff so friendly. Rooms so modern and of a great size. Good location for train station and getting around the area/ to airport. Multi purpose hotel - ideal for business/ conferences but also for a family trip.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Lovely comfy rooms, FANTASTIC breakfast and a great cosy type room to host business visitors. Has a supermarket and a selection of shops five min walking distance which is very useful.

No Laundry as advertised. One Staff member was curt, almost rude. Not helpful when trying to organize corporate rate

Most German hotels are more concerned about saving money than actually providing a cool comfortable room so we appreciated this hotel. Also great size room with mini bar and free parking.

The Gastwerk is a unique hotel, rooms are large and comfortable and everything is very clean. The restaurant and bar on site are fantastic as well. Definitely a great place to stay.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. We loved the hotel bar and whilst the breakfast was expensive, it was excellent.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room is well-appointed. However, there were many problems: I was awoke by a knock on the door and people opening my door. It was staff asking about restocking my mini bar. I had to tell them twice I was fine and to leave me in peace. The "do not disturb" sign was present. An hour later, as I was dressing after my shower, a man knocked and tried to open my door. It was maintenance -- I had not called and had no issue. I threw on a dress and told him he was in the wrong room. I tried to call reception FOUR TIMES, with no answer. I let it ring for a minute each time. I was very upset by someone trying to get into my room repeatedly -- hours before the checkout time and with the "NO"/do not disturb sign up. As a woman traveling alone, this was scary. I do NOT recommend this hotel. They were of little help or concern when I checked out since I paid through Hotels.com. When I left, there was very loud construction happening in the lobby. (Grinding of metal, with dust.) It was hard to hear the staff.

We just checked out today from an extrordinary weekend. We are from Hamburg and were looking for a special place to spend our wedding night. We were looking for something high class, but individual and our expectations were topped in everyway. We had a spacious XL loft, which reminded me ouf Vegas space. We had a great second evening at the cocktail bar and the breakfast was also above par. We are planning to make it an annual stay and are very thankful for a great time. Michael Cagna

This is a really nice hotel in an interesting part of town. Very professional staff who are very attentive, coupled with high quality room provisions and amenities provided for an excellent stay.
