I think the hotel is worthy of a 4.5/5 star rating. It was clean and very charming. The bathroom was nice/updated and the bed was pretty comfortable. The hotel is very old, they did not have any air conditioning and it was nearly impossible to get a taxi or Uber from it, which is understandable given its location and age of the hotel. But, we have to shout out Laura who worked in the restaurant next door. From my understanding the owner of the hotel also owns the restaurant. So Laura was kind enough to help us check in, gave us suggestions, and even helped us order a taxi from the restaurant to the soccer stadium. She was truly amazing! She made our 1 night stay so much better.

I did have to think about this one. It wasn't really a good 4 star. Maybe if you could give like half a star then this place would be a good 3,5 Star place. Let's talk about the great things first. Hassle-free check-in. ( At 4 pm is the normal check in, couldn't complain cuz the check out is at 2 pm). Room 303 was great. Very clean , spacious and well designed, and well sound proofed. Almost no clatter from the street below. The occasional church Bell from the St Martinus church next door. Towels and linen clean, fresh. Now the not so good things. 1. You have 15 rooms and only 4 parking spaces. Hmmmm that's rather inconvenient. 2. You're charging 100€ per night and don't provide complimentary bottles of water in the room? That for me is absolutely no go. 3. The lighting in the room could be better ( if possible considering it's an old building and if the wiring of the place allows for it) 4. Improve the WiFi. You ask us to enjoy it. But when it's hardly accessible due to poor signal how can one use it in the first place. 5. Fix the small things. The rubber seals on the bathroom shower door. I used two towels and multiple wringing to dry out the floor where the water leaked on to. See that there's enough tissues and soap in the dispenser. 6. For me the pillows were too small. Not enough to be able to rest your head and neck in an anatomical position and not wake up with neck stiffness the next day. Most of the negatives can be improved upon. You guys deserve a 4 but with small irritating problems it's gonna be a 3.

Quiet area with beautiful church next door that rings it's bell every few hours..the hallways are quaint and old school but the rooms are upgraded and clean with plenty of room..there's free breakfast,wifi, cable with English channels which is hard to find in germany. Unfortunately no AC..and no lift (elevator) so pack lightly. Great room for the price

Dog friendly hotel and ideal for overnight stopover. 2 restaurants a stones throw away from the hotel offer good Getman food.

Small place in the middle of the historic old town. Rooms are small but also clean and cheap. Church around the corner is ringing the bell regularly...
