The two of us spent a weekend here. Combined with a visit to the Merkers adventure mine. We received a very friendly welcome. We were shown the room, which was neat and clean. The beds very comfortable. In the restaurant we were treated to delicious dishes freshly cooked by the host. Cozy restaurant where we sat for a long time with a beer. The breakfast is good and sufficient. The landlord is always friendly, with a cheeky saying on his lips. We'd love to come back.

It's always been interesting to read other visitors' reviews, but I was really surprised here. We have been traveling a lot since the border opened and have experience in every star area at home and abroad. Years ago there was a snack bar on every corner, but now you won't find one, but there are reasons for that too. We discovered this house with a snack bar while passing through. 3:00 p.m. It looked empty, but we popped in anyway. Normally only open from 5 p.m., we got a Rostbrätel relatively quickly, very tasty and inexpensive. The innkeeper was very friendly and open to a short conversation with us. Unfortunately I can only judge the rooms from the photos. We would have been happy if we could have stayed overnight with the quality offered at the price offered. We had because of one Booked a room for a concert on the other side of the former border, much more expensive, no trace of cleanliness, run down and breakfast extra. I don't have to mention details. Now to the guests for whom it was unreasonable to be in the house, I would like to say that how you meet always depends on two sides. Don't do anything yourself and judge others like that. We were satisfied with the breakfast because there was no extra packaging for the food. The butter was cut from the whole piece and the same with sausage and cheese. The rolls were frozen goods. And the rooms were clean, just very noisy. The mattresses were too soft and the pillows too fluffy for me. Short and sweet, enough for one or two nights.

Very nice hotel with very clean and tidy rooms. The dinner and breakfast were rich, tasty and can be recommended. We were well looked after by the innkeeper. Keep it up.
