A Hidden Gem of Tranquility and Luxury!
My stay at Mokni’s Palais Hotel & Spa was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the charming town of Bad Wildbad, this hotel exceeded all my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that made me feel truly welcome.
The rooms are elegantly appointed, blending modern comfort with classic style. My suite was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding Black Forest. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities is remarkable, ensuring a luxurious and comfortable stay.
The highlight, however, is undoubtedly the spa. With its extensive range of treatments and thermal pools, it’s a haven of relaxation. I particularly enjoyed the thermal baths, which were rejuvenating and soothing. The staff at the spa were professional and attentive, making sure every moment was a blissful experience.
Eating at Mokni’s Palais is another delight. The breakfast buffet is abundant and varied, offering fresh, locally sourced options.

Perfect place to go and separate from life responsibilities for a few days. Amazing breakfast buffet. The spa/roman baths are just perfect. The surrounding area is filled with opportunities to get out and enjoy nature.

Beautiful hotel with use of the Palais Thermal included just great. I booked with breakfast and had a lot of choice for breakfast. Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Many other shops nearby. Supermarket can be reached on foot in 6-7 minutes. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I believe you are required to book a minimum of 3 nights to stay here, and that's what we did during the 1st May long weekend. We wanted to visit this region (beautiful!), and this was the best hotel. The lady at the reception was wonderful, we speak German very badly and she had no problem communicating in English with us. The hotel is very nice, in my opinion. Our room was spacious and clean. You have to ask to change your towels, but, honestly, we kept the same ones during our stay: at home we don't change them daily either and they were clean... Also, the towel warmer dries them pretty fast.
You are connected and you have access to the Palais Thermal, which we tried just once. It was not our main point of interest, but we wanted to check it out anyway. We read that it was textile-free, and most of the places are, but the ground floor is mixed; we saw lots of people with swimming suits or shorts (as it was our case, since we're not used to bathe naked in public), but also people who were naked and no one seemed to be bothered or uncomfortable with one another.
The breakfast buffet was also very good.
Parking is limited but you can book it in advance and it's not expensive.
We had a lovely time here and we would definitely come back.
