Great location for a first time trip to Heidelberg. A 10 min drive from the main station to the hotel and close to the taxi rank. Bang in the city centre. Great service overall and even got a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite with a nice view(ish). The room was spacious but a bit stark and could’ve done with more amenities, frequent water top ups and soap etc. After 11pm the front door closes but there are zero directions on how to get to the back entrance which meant standing in the cold and waving down some guests in the lobby to let us in! As the hotel wasn’t busy, the breakfast was quite basic which is fine but still good quality and the service was good in the restaurant.

**Review of PLAZA Premium Heidelberg** I would like to share my experience from my stay at PLAZA Premium Heidelberg, which unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Firstly, the service at the hotel was disappointing. I experienced several times that the staff did not listen to my requests. I asked for my room to be cleaned but it was never done which made my stay less pleasant. It is frustrating when you expect a certain standard, but it is not met. In addition, there were also problems with parking. There was never an opportunity to park the car, which made it difficult to get around. This is unacceptable, especially when you have paid to stay at the hotel. It should be a basic service that guests can find a parking space. All in all, my stay at PLAZA Premium Heidelberg was a disappointment. I hope the hotel will take note of these comments and improve their service in the future. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Very nice hotel. Nice clean rooms. For the price, I would prefer having at least a free water bottle in the room! Also very annoyingly, the minibar was turned off and you have to call the reception to turn it on!! Never seen this before and I've been in many hotels.

We really enjoyed our short but sweet stay here. The room was really thought out with a great sense of sustainability, i.e. your turned off fridge that can easily be switched on by asking reception or toiletries that also can be requested via reception. Parking is easy and plenty and location is very convenient. Can only recommend this hotel.

Absolute best hotel if you like traveling with your dogs. We were charged €10 per dog per night but included a little welcome gift and being made welcome from the moment we arrived. On site parking was full but the staff were incredible and showed us three alternative parkings working 100m walking distance.
