A strategic hotel, easy to get to anywhere and the cool thing is that at night there is a street food stall so you can hang out in front of the hotel.

The process from booking to getting a room was quite fast. The room was fully booked so I got a double bed even though I was alone. For a short stay near Tunjungan, it was quite comfortable. Please check again for the coldness of the AC and the presence of ants on the table under the TV. Thank you

Let's get straight to the downsides. It's a bit too narrow for a prayer space. There's a small cockroach (alive) behind the tea tray. There are still strands of hair from the previous occupants in the bathroom floor and toilet. Other than that, it's okay, the sheets are clean, the AC is really cold, and the water heats up quickly.

On 4-6 February 2025, I stayed here. Will stay here again if I have business in Surabaya again. Cheap and cheerful. Close to Tunjungan Mall. There is a prayer room. Near the food court. There is a food stall on the terrace. If you want local food, you can go to Taman Apsari on Jalan Kaku nearby.

Bekizaar Hotel, cheap and cheerful, strategically located right across from Mall Tunjungan Surabaya. Many choices of food courts around it. There is a food stall on the hotel terrace. If you want to go to Taman Apsari, it's also close, just walk. There is a prayer room on the ground floor. Standard breakfast menu. The room size is small but enough for resting. I stayed 4-6 Feb 2025 for office work. ππ

The hotel is right in front of the Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya mall, then next to it there are many places to eat such as MCD and Richess Factory. All of these places can be reached on foot from the hotel.
