The room view is nice, just happened to come when there was a corona outbreak, so it was quiet, there was free hot water, for visitors. The room is clean, unfortunately my room sink is broken so the toothbrush is difficult having to use the shower. Provide a double blanket because the air is very cold in the morning and night. If there is AC it might be better.

My family and I really enjoyed the vacation at the Merapi cottage. As expected, the view offered from inside the room immediately saw the dashing of Mount Merapi, a calm and beautiful rural atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after work.

Strategic location of homestay villages, near the sub-district police and selo sub-districts. Equipped with a satellite TV and a sink, equipped with parking for motorcycles and cars, towels, blankets and toothbrushes are available. Curtains should be replaced with a thick one because if the night privacy becomes less conditioned.

I and my family stayed at the Merapi lodge. We came late afternoon and morning had returned. In general, Merapi cottage is okay. Mother and father of the friendly cottage manager. Oh yes, but there are some inputs for the Merapi hut: 1. In the deluxe type where I stay, the bathroom does not have a faucet (there is a shower and toilet water spray), so for washing hands and ablution it is difficult advice: love the faucet and a bucket of water 2. At deluxe type there is a little space in the front yard, advice: given a fence so that it is safe, because it is very dangerous for those who bring children can fall. 3. On the mountain you want to drink warm, advice: facilitation of thermos plus hot water in each room rather than a dispenser for the crowded and put out far away again. Exiting the room in the middle of the night was too lazy to pooollllnya. It's hard to drink warm, it's hard to make a child's milk. In the meantime, my input, hopefully, be considerate for better ...

This homestay is suitable for honeymooners or families. The place is comfortable, the view is extraordinary, the managers are friendly, not bothered. Clean. No air conditioning, but believe there is no feeling of overheating, instead cold. Only one drawback, there is no WiFi, so if you use 3, the signal is difficult. But it's okay, no problem.

Once arrived, there was no greeting, no one in his office for check-in. Finally we wa wa and told to go straight to the room without checking in. But on the other hand the view is really good. Only his remarks had to be fixed, thanks.

I had a short stay at Pondok before heading for the climb at midnight, so cant really enjoy the view. The location is only 5 mins drive from the based camp - suitable for those who wants to rest here before or after the climb. - Room is okay, about 10m2. We came at night so it was a bit chill and the ground is damp. The bathroom do not have hot water in the evening Nevertheless, the owner was lovely and helpful.

Overall good. In accordance with the description, it is only a pity if the night just outside the room smells of apology of cow dung because it is just right below that there is a house that has a cow pen😊. But its okay replaced with a place and a great view
