We had a wonderful time here. Our party of 14 stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed warm hospitality, delicious food and luxurious surroundings. Drivers, massage therapists and even a Balinese dance and fire performance were helpfully arranged at short notice. Highly recommend

This hotel is a total ripoff. We booked a twin bedroom and once we got there they told us it was "broken".. At the end of our trip, the owner tried to force us paying cash for the bill, which is totally illegal and he threatened us and told us he can do "whatever he wants with us in Bali". The pictures of the beach aren't the real beach . You can't swim in it. Also, you can't really get out of the resort since they won't help you finding transportation other than a ridiculously expensive driver. So you are stuck and can only order in their restaurant. The resort was empty. They backyard pool is dirty and you can't swim in it so only one pool. The food is more expensive and not so good. The staff looks unhappy and it made us uncomfortable. Stay away from this hotel. Specially at this price, you can definitely get better and also a better location.

A nice and quiet place right next to the sea. There is a popular surfing spot next to the property. Getting to Villa Mandale isn't as straightforward as following a road and some signs, so contact the hotel first! Very nice view from the pool. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is okay nothing mind blowing.

This place is amazing. The staff is fantastic. I had a business conference Skype call and they helped sort me out the perfect area to do everything. I have never stayed in a place where the staff have gone above and beyond what they needed to do for guests. The villa is also amazing. This is my 1st ever review because I couldn't ask for more. P.s the lady who does the massages is fantastic. Everything is above 5 stars

Very expensive for what it is. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The beach is dangerous and not the same as the pictures. The bathroom wasn't very clean. Alot of things on the food menu aren't available and you can't really get out of the hotel to eat since its very far from the main road and they don't have transportation service available (unless you want to spend 30-50USD to get out, which is totally not normal for Bali) The bed are not comfortable and the staff looks like they are forced to be nice. The owners are rude and don't know how to treat the clients. You can get way better for the same price.
