My family and I had the best stay here in June. Francesca and her family were amazing hosts. She told us all about the history of her family and the farm. We came here after a day down at Cince Terra, about a 45-50 min drive in to the mountains. The rooms were spacious and cozy with beautiful views of the mountains. Relaxing and quiet. The home cooked dinner and fresh breakfast we had was the best part. Dinner menu was farm-fresh and they educated us about what they harvest as well as all the amazing regional wines from their selection. Very delicious. The homemade yogurt from their cows was spectacular. What a gem of a place! I hope to return. Grazie mille!

What a lovely place! We just escaped a bad experience with an airbnb booking and were in urgent need of a place to stay and were so warmly welcomed in this very soulful place, we loved the decoration, the food and the refreshing surrounding by juicy green woods.
We will come back! We also were led to a magical place, that I won’t share here. But it touched us deeply… thank you!

We had barely left before already hatching a plan to return! The restaurant is out of this world and a champion of slow food with brilliant cheeses made on site, we knew it’d be good because locals we happened across (from miles away at a car garage or taxis in towns over) would know it and tell us how special it is. The whole ethos of the il filo di paglia set up is respectful of the natural world and the family hosting create an extremely wholesome and warm holiday for everyone. Unforgettable!

The rooms are very rustic but very romantic as we expected since it is an old farm. It is in the middle of nowhere and therefore it is very quite and we got a really good rest. If you're a little sportive you can reach the beach in Sestri Levante by bicycle or do some hiking in the surroundings.
But the most fantastic about this place is for sure the dinner and the super friendly hosts. They do have a herd of cows and serve a nice variety of beef. Also the cheese is supposedly hand made. The dinner is very delicious and also the wine from surrounding agriculture is very good.
We totally recommend this place if you're looking for a nice romantic stay with very good dinner. We loved it ;)

I can't say enough great things about this place! Everything was perfect! The family works together seamlessly to provide exceptional service. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is delicious. Accomodations beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The setting is perfection and the fireflies in summer are the icing on the cake.
