I' ve visited Italy many times, but with Valgrande I was discovering this country in a new, special way. The hospitality of Monica and Alberto was really incredible. Their pasta and moka as well. Comfortable, clean and cosy rooms . Great swimming pool. Really recommend.

What an amazing stay at Monicas and Albertos farm! From the moment we came, we felt us very welcome! Our room was clean and nice, and very big for our family of 4. Pool was also clean, and the area around the pool is so relaxing with the perfect view over corn fields and fruit trees! Monica was treating us with refreshments a couple of days, even we didn’t ask for them, so sweet of her!! We had lunch one day, outside in the shade, with homemade sandwiches for the children (that’s what they asked for, so that’s what Monica made for them 😊), we got a plate of different kind of salamis (homemade), different cheese, really good vegetables and of course a very good bottle of Prosecco! We had 5 times dinner as well, all dinners starting with homemade Pastas (the BEST I EVER TASTED), and secondi of meets with vegetables and potatoes, children had dessert of homemade cake and fruits! We also had the pleasure to attend a cooking class, where Monica teaches our children (5 and 8 years old), to make homemade pasta! There is no doubt that Monica knows how to teach! Our son can never keep concentration for more than 5 minutes, however Monica kept his concentration for 1½ hour straight! Of course we had the pasta for dinner, which especially the children was big fan of 😊. The children also had the opportunity to help with cleaning out after the horses and the donkey and feeding all the animals, including finding 3 eggs from the goose, which Monica used for Frittata the same evening, again something the children appreciated very much! We have tried, all inclusive holidays (which include all the ice-cream you can eat), camping in bungalows at Lake Garda with water rides, BUT non of these holidays has bin as good as these 5 days at Monica and Albertos, this is my children words and my wife and I can only say exactly the same!! We never visit the same place twice (you have to see as much as possible when you are alive), but this place we will come back to some day, for sure!

Immersed in the landscape of the Rovigo countryside, the structure is based on the rural styles of the past as are the flavors of the cuisine they offer. The dishes offered, both elaborate and simple, are made with great attention to detail, respecting the trappings of the past, making everything extraordinary. I also recommend it to those who lead a hectic life and find a corner of total relaxation in addition to the joy of the palate.
