L'ancora was a lovely apartment close to the top of the hill in Riomaggiore. The top floor apartment has a lovely terrace and while it doesn't have an uninterrupted view of the ocean, it does still have a great view.
The apartment is small but has everything you need while on holiday.
Shops and restaurants are only a short walk (up/down a big hill) away.
Unsure why this place hasn't had a Google review in years, but it was great.

Absolutely loved everything about Riomaggiore!!! This town is my favorite out of all 5 cinque Terre towns. The apartment was clean and cozy! The view was amazing! I think this is one of my favorite places in Italy that we have visited! If you love swimming go up the steps and around the corner at the top and keep going! The water is crystal blue and lots of fishy’s!!! Buy your self some goggles because it’s definitely worth it! If your contemplating which town to stay in I 100% recommend Riomaggiore!!

our stay was not pleasant we stayed on the very top apartment with
Seaview. We had a RAT in the room. Staff aware but took to long to help. We left, refund was given.. will never return to this region again.
