Beautiful place, good structure, not accurate in details (staff not 100% professional)

I stayed from August 17th to 24th and was very disappointed. The village has enormous potential, but unfortunately it is not being exploited properly. * Food: The quality of the food was really poor, often the same dishes were recycled day after day, with little variety and little attention to the ingredients. * Cleanliness: The rooms and public areas left a lot to be desired. The cleaning was superficial and there was a lack of attention to detail, especially upon arrival in the room there were a lot of ants coming from outside. * Animation: The entertainment was entrusted to very young boys, with little experience and little ability to involve guests. The proposed activities were repetitive and not very original. It's a real shame, because the village has a lovely location and could offer so much more. I hope that in the future the management will pay more attention to these fundamental aspects to ensure a pleasant stay for its guests. Tips for improvement: * Cuisine: Hire a more qualified chef and propose a more varied and refined menu, using fresh and local products. * Cleaning: Increase cleaning frequency and train staff to higher standards. * Entertainment: Organize a more experienced team of animators and propose more engaging and diversified activities, suitable for all ages. I hope this review can be useful to anyone who is considering staying in this village.

It's the second year in a row that I've come here. I hope that what I write will be useful to the managers of the facility. The resort, structurally, has not changed unlike the beach which I noticed significant improvements, from the bar, the bathrooms, the flowers, the beach volleyball net and the lifeguards present. Cleaning has definitely improved too (more staff). The rooms are good and with everything you need. The pool is clean but the bottom should just be cleaned more often from the olives that fall from the trees. Friendly and professional bar staff. The restaurant: the organization has certainly improved, more staff with everyone having their own rank to get rid of it. the food (lunch and dinner) a little better, but still "acceptable", the breakfast much improved. The children's menu does not exist this year but we made do. The shuttle is always efficient, even if it takes very little on foot. And now the animation. The difference from last year was huge (obviously not in favor of this year). I came back here just for them, but I couldn't find them. It's like making the difference between a Ferrari and a panda. But I don't blame the animators, on the contrary, they were very good... The head animator Peppe, Damiano, Regina, Federica and the others all gave their best, did almost the impossible and it showed...... It's not easy to reach the same goal if they give you a panda. Er ciavatta (someone will understand) ;)

Here we are after the end of our week to take stock. ROOMS Our room was located at the Giunone hotel. What can I say…. Dirty, bad smelling, full of humidity. The destroyed shower cubicle was difficult to close and the dish to hold the detergents was fixed with clamps which, as you can imagine, did not do their job. The floor was different from one side to the other, in the room parquet repaired with different pieces. Instead towards the bathroom a marble difficult to understand if it was clean or dirty. Beds that were army cots, and from the photos you will also see without protections. Oh last thing, at night you have ants crawling around in your bed, so I haven't slept for a week. Cobwebs reported in the bathroom never removed!! FOOD-RESTAURANT The quality of the food is very poor. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are buffet style with set times. But be careful, they always close 10 minutes before closing. If you arrive late you won't find anything left, at least as far as starters and desserts are concerned. In practically a week I never ate a dessert because when it was my turn it was all gone. Then there were privileged tables where the waiters made them find fruit and sweets directly on the table. POOL This is very beautiful even if it is neglected in cleaning. In the morning I found plastic cups from the night before on the deckchairs and papers and maps on the floor. All in all, not very good management. That pool deserves more!!! SEA It can be reached via a water channel used as a passage, a more or less 500m walk under the vines and therefore in the shade. Well what can I say, focus on the beauty of the sea leaving aside the structure. ANIMATION I've been traveling around villages like this for a few years, and I've seen some entertainment, they're always very young kids paid by a white or a black person who spend 5 months in ugly, camped-out rooms. They try to do the best with what the facility offers. Here's a small note: I didn't know anything about the various tournaments that were held. And from the mini club there is little initiative to take the younger children. POSITIVE NOTE Bar staff always available and willing. Very friendly hotel staff but they don't take the reports seriously, for the first 3 days every morning I went by to say what was wrong with the room and they never did anything, in my opinion they didn't even report the things that were reported to them . CONCLUSION We will never go back again!!! The structure has potential but left to complete decay. Just think that in the car park together with the olive trees and full of rubbish (glass bottles, bags etc etc.) Every day we missed something They ran out of toilet paper for 1 day so they left us without it 1 day the breakfasts were missing hot drinks because they ran out 1 day there was no wine at the buffet I've always run out of sweets. And I can continue. IN short, MONEY WORTHLY SPENT!!!

I'll start by saying that this resort has great potential, the structure is impressive, it has a beautiful swimming pool, a clean albeit almost always rough sea, spacious rooms, a restaurant with a view. What is missing is good management which appears completely inadequate. The swimming pool, I repeat, is beautiful, but not always clean, in the evening the customers of the structure left everything on the sunbeds and on the floor and sometimes even in the water, glass glasses, cigarette butts etc... the lifeguards as if they weren't there , people in the water without caps. Unfortunately there was a week of very rough seas and this created a lot of confusion in the pool due to the lack of deckchairs, sunbeds and umbrellas for everyone. I would like to underline how arrogant and overbearing the lifeguards were in taking away deckchairs and sunbeds from all the customers to make up for this shortage. Furthermore, the pool water was not cleaned every morning. The beach, which can be reached on foot or by shuttle, is pleasant, but being very windy the area often makes the sea impassable. The bar costs too much, €3.50 for a granita in a half plastic glass. The rooms are spacious and clean, I stayed at the Zeus, in the attic there was no possibility of hanging towels and costumes outside, for the first two days I had a problem related to bad odors rising from the toilet which was then resolved after several reminders. The restaurant offers overall good food, the dining room staff is friendly, the chef is very willing to fulfill customer requests, but the cleanliness of the environment is poor, I would also recommend putting spoons on the table because you had to ask for them every time and it took several minutes of waiting. Animation made by very young, kind and not intrusive kids. Overall acceptable holiday, but I wouldn't go back.
