By far the most beautiful experience we’ve had in Italy. If you want to feel how a true Italian lives, this is it. The hosts could not be more warm, friendly, or attentive. Honestly, I can’t say enough about their hospitality.
Besides, the location being on a very quiet street, the meals that I had here, at an extra fee, were well worth it. I can easily say it is the best and most authentic food you will find. If I can figure out how to leave pictures on this app, I will add a few of the meals we experienced.
It’s hard to describe what this place means to me. To say I left here with a full heart is an understatement.

Superb private house used as a B&B. Monica is a perfect hostess, available, attentive and precise. Unfortunately mine was only a one night stay in this paradise. Small but cozy room. Breakfast like a queen, lots of sweet and savory choices including some homemade and fresh delicacies. I was also able to store the bike safely. The garden and swimming pool make everything even more fairytale-like.

Non-compliant room, faulty air conditioning, dogs howling at all hours (soundproofing is non-existent) not to mention the presence of a railway a few meters from the property... If you are passing through Portogruaro, avoid this place at all costs. accommodation and its owner with dishonest practices.

Economic warnings:
- the price of breakfast is not included, when you get there you may find that you have to pay €5 per person per day;
- if you pay by card, you will pay 2% more.
The first evening the owner had prepared the bed for me in the office, between a bookcase full of filing cabinets and a closed door that led to an unspecified technical room. The next day I asked to change rooms and the lady obliged me immediately, a sign that she could have immediately avoided the bad impression of putting me there.
Breakfast is tasty and plentiful, just be careful to avoid the donuts that have been on the table for two or three days.
The cleanliness is sufficient if you look from five feet below, but if you look up there is dust on the shelves and cobwebs on the beams.
The bathroom was outside the room but spacious, shame about the mold in the shower.
The comfortable mattress and pillow.
The owner is kind and helpful but might make you feel bad about asking for a second cappuccino at breakfast.
Overall it is a sufficient place, not the charming residence it seems from the photos.
