Visited Noto once again and returned to the Sofia (tried a B&B last year but not a great experience) so back to the Sofia and as always the all the staff are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - The rooms are clean and comfortable - however it would be nice to have Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was standard for the 4* hotel. It is on the outskirts of Noto but the centre is 5 minute in the car. I will be back again

“Did what it said on the tin”- good value, close to city and with pool. Great staff, excellent breakfast and a real draw- easy and free parking. Great as a base for a visit to Noto. If you want character and old Sicily- not for you but overall very good as a base

Beautiful hotel, spacious. Location is great 10 minute drive to beach. 8 minute walk to city centre. Very safe. Parking on site and pool. Enjoyed our stay

The hotel itself was modern and spacious and the staff were friendly enough but a judo convention of young kids spoilt our stay. That and watching another couple of guests being allowed to sit their dog at the breakfast table on a chair while they feed it ham from the buffet breakfast spoilt the stay.

The Staff are lovely, but the hotel is slipping and in need of some work (Shower did not function properly, cracks in wall ) the quality of the breakfast has also slipped only one type of yogurt Pineapple but after the 6th or 7th request from guests they actually found a couple of other flavours. To begin with the waiters did not have masks on then suddenly they all put them on which was quite disconcerting. I have stayed here nearly every year for the last 10 years so its a little sad to see the decline in quality

Great hotel with nice pool area. We had a circle-ended room which was really big. Nice bathroom with Jacuzzi, lots of toiletries. Surprise complimentary Prosecco and fresh fruit delivered to our room (very welcome!). Would definitely stay here again.

Back here after a year off having stayed here every year for the previous 7 years. It familiar and comfortable. Most off the staff are excellent helpful and friendly. We had some maintenance issues with the room but these were sorted and changed rooms no problems. The being the COVID year things where different at breakfast served buffet which is slow be necessary and with masks on makes it less welcoming. But still plenty of choices. I am certain all being well we will be back again so I don’t think I can give a better recommendation than that

Very easy to find, plenty of parking. Convenient stop over as I was
traveling up Italy, and it was close to the motorway.
Room was very clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and polite.
I ate an evening meal and breakfast here, both of which were excellent.
