Close to train station and restaurants, which is convenient but rooms on the front of the hotel are noisy. Room 305 is very warm even with the window open. The staff misinformed us about parking but we worked it out. The onsite restaurant had a good dinner menu and the service was fast.

All I need was the air conditioning and they didn’t have it. When we try to cancel it and go somewhere else they didn’t even want to help. It was such a terrible experience. This hotel got no air conditioning except the lobby area

Nice property very close to train station and restaurants. Very clean and friendly staff. Badly in need of air conditioners. The heat was unbearable and all we had was one small table fan. Also nobody at reception overnight in case you need to get anything, e.g., an extra fan. Seemed to be be eco-friendly but the hand soap provided was so small it could have been mistaken for an 800 mg Lipitor pill.

Not all rooms had air conditioning. We arrived on a hot summer day and were given a room on the top floor. It was intolerably hot even with the small fans they provided. They couldn’t move us to any of the smaller rooms with air conditioning or offer any form of accommodation so we left and spent the night elsewhere. No refund

Checked in, when walking to the room there was a naked man standing in a wide open doorway. Room was very small, no air conditioning, and not clean. We did not feel safe because of the naked man and we immediately checked out to find a better hotel. Hotel Bernina refused to give us a refund. Did not feel safe at this hotel.

Conveniently located within steps of the train and bus station with restaurants nearby. Quadruple room (sleeps 4) was a tight squeeze with 2 adults and 2 teens but doable for a night. Shower walls could use a good cleaning. Restaurant was tasty and most staff were friendly. One server was obvious in her dislike for Americans.

This is a great hotel for the price! The only complaint I have is the room is super small. The bathroom is large, however! Lots of hot water for showers and a delicious breakfast buffet.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Hotel Bernina located just a few steps from the train station in Piazza delld Stazioni and the Bernina Express train station making connections by train in Tirano simple. The restaurant is lovely.
