A fabulous place to stay with a fabulous staff a beautiful view of breakfast second to none. Just an amazing experience. If you’re traveling to Sienna you need to stay here. Don’t even look anywhere else. Just stay here. It’s the nicest place around. The property is gorgeous. The rooms are amazing Fabulous place. Fabulous staff fabulous food fabulous views walking distance to everything thank you to the staff, you folks were incredible!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional service I received during my visit.
From the moment I arrived, the reception team—Ina, Francesco, and Fabio—made me feel warmly welcomed. Their friendly demeanor and helpful tips about the area truly set the tone for a fantastic stay.
The breakfast service was a highlight of my mornings. Although I regret not catching the names of the staff who attended to us, their attentiveness and care did not go unnoticed. They created such a cheerful atmosphere, ensuring that everything was well-stocked and that we were comfortable. It was a lovely way to start each day!
Additionally, the room cleaning service was top-notch. The staff ensured my room was spotless and cozy, and I appreciated the little touches that made my stay even more enjoyable.
Lastly, a shout-out to Italo at the bar! His cocktails were a delight, and his friendly conversation added a special touch to my evenings.

Our stay at hotel San Marco couldn't have gone any better. We were impressed by the friendliness of all the staff, who made our stay even better. The whole hotel was very clean, including of course our room. We also enjoyed the pool to cool down after a hot day walking around the city. The location is great as well, just a stone's throw away from the city centre and close to local restaurants outside (we received great recommendations too from the staff)

We were fortunate to stay in the lower villa which was fabulous. With its own outdoor garden space and furniture we could relax at any time of day or evening.
Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of continental foods as well as eggs, sausage and bacon.

Small and friendly hotel within walking distances of Lucca walls and river. Staff treated us like royalty- nothing was too much. Needed a dip in the refreshing pool after humidity of Lucca. Breakfast was brilliant and even had bacon and scrambled eggs.

The Hotel San Marco is a modern hotel with every amenity for the traveler, including hotel bicycles and umbrellas! The location is just a few safe, walkable blocks to the historic walled city. A large buffet breakfast selection starts the day, and a glass of wine at the pool area is a welcome rest at the end af the day. Every staff member is cheerful, helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel.
