I'm reviewing "I Tre Golfi Beach Apartments"
1. The room I received was different from what was shown during the booking process.
2. When I reported the issue, the staff dismissed it, saying, “OK, write to Booking if you want; that’s just how we operate.”
3. After I mentioned I would reach out to Booking, they allowed me to switch rooms. However, this was only for half my stay, and the entire transfer process took two hours, resulting in a significant waste of time.
4. I encountered a fraudulent attempt through the Booking messaging system. Someone contacted me within the platform, providing the name of a person who would reach out on a third-party messenger. When contacted, this person claimed I needed to confirm my credit card details using a provided form. Although it appeared legitimate, I noticed the domain was suspicious. After consulting Booking, I discovered it was a scam attempt, and it was alarming that the scammer had access to my booking details, including my stay dates, name, and costs. This indicates that the apartment owner did not keep my data secure, and they never apologized or offered compensation for the stress and risk involved.
5. The location and key pickup process was chaotic. The property didn’t share an exact address, and the key pickup location changed multiple times. Navigating through closed roads and security checks without clear instructions was stressful and time-consuming. With better communication, this could have been avoided.
6. The apartment’s cleanliness was subpar. While some areas were acceptable, certain parts were bordering on unkempt.
7. The trash sorting system was overly complicated and unnecessarily stressful. In one of the apartments, bins occupied about 30% of the balcony space, so instead of a sea view, I was met with a pile of trash.
