We stayed here in our last night in Sicily and we regret that we did not stay one more night. The place is very quiet and peaceful, the food is amazing and the staff is super nice. It was a great place to relax at the end of the trip in Sicily, and transition back to normal life. You can ride horses and pet the farm animals. The airport is very easy to reach by car from there, including gas station on the way to the airport.

We had a funny and delicious New Year's Evening dinner in this lovely place. The kitchen noticed my lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet in quite short warning time and listened my wishes. All the staff were polite and we left with happy bellies and smiling faces.

Very small but comfortable rooms, perfectly clean, wonderful dinner, good simple breakfast, large property to wander. The family who run it seems very attentive and helpful.

In the countryside of Sicily, between Catania and Siracusa, there is this dream of a farmstay called il Giardino del Sole. With my wife and 2yrs old daughter we went for our dear friends wedding, and fell in love with the place. Family owned and run, behind the reception there are pictures from where they started 14yrs ago, and to see what they have build together today is absolutely incredible!! They have thought about literally everything. The bungalows and rooms are very clean and tidy, all with air conditioner and tv, wifi coverage is everywhere. There is a playground for the little ones just next to the swimming pool! The attention to detail is almost overwhelming, the beauty of the old family's furniture and the porcelain from Caltagirone in the dining room look like they came out of a dream. I could have spent hours just looking at every detail and wondering about the story behind them. The food is amazing on every meal, from the homemade jams of orange and passion fruit with brioches and free range eggs for breakfast, passing by the deliciousness of the every single dish that comes out of the kitchen, to some of the best wood fire oven pizzas I have ever tasted in my life. The pistacchio mortadella pizza was outstanding!! The staff is professional, on point, and ready to fulfill every request. The hosts, Marco and Sign. Enza are extremely helpful, professional, always present with problem solving skills to envy, and we couldn't compliment them enough. Our friends wedding was made even more magical thanks to their incredible efforts. We really fell in love with the place and with the beautiful family that runs it! We strongly recommend it and can't wait to be back one day!

The Giardino del sole offers a tranquil location for a nice family holiday. I was one of the first clients which I visited the place 15 years ago. Today I still find the location and the service as one of the best in Sicily. just a few kilometres way from Catania and alot of shopping centres not to mention Etna which is a great place to visit as it is the most active volcano in the med.
