The service and warm reception at Il Moscardino was much appreciated. They were professional, helpful beyond any expectation and most gracious. Domenico and Irene are true hosts, and I recommend the property to anyone.

We stayed for a week in late May to explore the area. It was very quiet. Our room was very spacious, clean, the plumbing and electrics worked fine, and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Under-cover free car parking on site. The restaurant was terrific; excellent local food and great service. After a couple of days our waiter Pino and chef Franco were making recommendations of local dishes and preparing them for us "off-menu". Fantastic. The resort is on the edge of town. It is easy to walk to explore the nice little town with several interesting churches, and the Certosa with its own museum and nearby sanctuario. It is a very good location to explore the mountain & forest area to the east, or even to go to the beaches and archaeology down on the east coast.

Modern and functional resort in an optimal position to see the splendid Calabrian Serre. However, the thing that struck us most and that made the real difference in our stay was the welcome given to us by the staff: very kind, professional and at the same time very friendly. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart and to Maria Teresa, the lady who also took care of the cleaning of our room, special thanks go not only for the impeccable cleaning that our room needed on a daily basis due to the fact that we were traveling with a small dog but also for suggestions on places to visit.
