We just loved it. The owners are so incredibly friendly and great hosts. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The climb even with a car is an adventure but 100% worth it. They have a few dogs and goats and a little farm so it’s just perfect to relax and slow down your life. They have solid Wi-Fi if needed but you actually really don’t, there is so much to enjoy!!

All I can say is that we start with 2 days and we end with 4. Ale, Nadia, Lore and Franchino were just amazing guests.

Truly an authentic Italian experience! Lorenzo and Alessandra are both welcoming, kind and excellent hosts. The farm is a wonderful place to relax with beautiful views of the countryside and walking distance to the castle. Horses, goats, donkeys, dogs, cats, cows and geese oh my! I don’t know if it was the cold weather, my cozy room or the quiet but I slept like a baby. I will be returning in the summer and I can’t wait. If you do stay here the directions are a little confusing. Once you turn on the castle road it says you’ve arrived, you have not, continue up the street, across the railroad tracks to the driveway to the left, go up the hill and keep going, you will see a sign letting you know you are in the place. It’s helpful to message the hosts when you will be arriving. Be prepared for some of the best home cooking if you choose to eat at the farm. Some of the best dishes I have had throughout my time in Italy. I really loved this place and 3 nights wasn’t enough.

I was there about 2 or 3 years ago, I'm only now deciding to write a review to help people understand whether it's better to go there or not. my honest answer is no: the room lacks essential services, it is cold at night and it is full of dead and living insects. All in all the food wasn't bad at all. location practically unreachable by car due to a rough and narrow road. It claims to be a farmhouse but everything offered for breakfast was packaged. completely negative experience although I don't know if the owners have changed anything in 3 years. I recommend also looking at more recent reviews.

If you want to relax, eat well, and entertain the children, you are in the right place. Excellent welcome and friendliness, simple and plentiful cuisine. Immersed in the greenery of Lunigiana, admirable management commitment between zero km food, and respect for animals, breathtaking panorama. We will definitely return.
