Nice location on sea cliff. Really caring service and room are good and well maintained. We had nice balcony headed to the Etna and sea - it was great to sit mornings and evening and stare at the view. Dinner restaurant is good and they have a nice pizza as well. Breakfast is very simple, don't expect much.

LOVED IT! the place is stunning! Hotel was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The area is INCREDIBLE, the sea is superclean and you can see 20' underwater... not so easy to access but if you have an adventurous spirit this place will charm you. The surroundings are a hard hike but a well worth exploration. The crew is superfriendly... Carmine charmed us with treats and jokes all the way through. I would go back in heartbeat!

Room was miserable & dark. 3 members of staff were brilliant but they could not make up for the lack of care about the guests. We were half board & the food was dire. Boring same old same old breakfast of cheap cereals, cheap bread, only sweet croissants, untimely fruit & unpleasant scrambled eggs & bacon swimming in fat every single day. Dinners were often last night’s rehashed. Honestly, don’t go here. There isn’t even anywhere nearby you can escape to to get a decent evening meal. Cheapest if cheap food. Pool area was not very well looked after, I never saw the pool being cleaned. Location is lovely on a rocky promontory but there’s supposed to be a bathing platform.....there isn’t. Avoid this hotel.

My wife and I were there for 10 days in October 2019. Good sea view and Etna-view from breakfast-terrace. Perfect coffee Good room cleaning Bad NO BEACH AT ALL!!! On google maps the road to this hotel is going throw the dirt road and IT IS CLOSED with the barrier, so mind it in case you will rent a car.It took us not so long to find the normal road,but it was not very good greeting of Venus sea garden. Breakfast was so poor and not tasty,cold becon and burnt omelet every day. There was a bar in the room(2 bot. of water) and it wasn’t written anywhere that it is not included.That’s why there was a surprise-bill at the end of staying. The furniture was very old ,flimsy and creaking so it’s a problem when someone is sleeping and you need to open the locker. Sicily is really a good place for a couple to stay and to travel, but next time I will book an apartment or villa (the prize is cheaper ,the service is THE SAME)

We(family) visited the hotel in the off-season (End of october) 2019. the stuf was very friendly and helpful. The food had a good quality. Unfortunately has the hotel no direct access to the beach only via a private property and rock climbing. I would recommend the hotel for pair, buisness trips or relax. For families does it not have many activites.
