We arrived after a long day of travel(from Canada) to find that our reservation had been given away. We prepaid in June with expedia and on arrival...no room. We chose this beautiful hilltop hotel with views of the vineyards...well on purpose. There was some sort of computer problem at the hotel that was never sorted out and our reservation was lost. We felt that it was very suspicious as all of the other hotels that we stayed at (booked thru expedia) we were told that this information is really easy to recover if lost and not backed up. Our host was kind enough to find us another hotel...really we felt anything to get us out of there. We had dinner reservation all based on staying in this location, which were not all usable as now our hotel was 30 minutes away in alba. If you want to have a problem that even money cannot fix....stay here. PS we are still waiting to hear from expedia about how this could happen...Not sure that we will use expedia again...definitely would not trust small unchained hotels again as there seems to be no consequences for this behaviour. We wonder if our lost reservation was related to the rooms being filled with 2 tour groups. The host paid for our other hotel, so there is no chain of events to follow from expedias point of view.......

Wonderful location, service and comfort. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. If you like wine, the list at the restaurant is impressive and very inexpensive, and the proximity to wineries super convenient.

At face value... nothing "wrong" with the hotel. However... pool was not cleaned, breakfast was overwhelmingly disappointing (orange squash not juice, warm UHT milk, nothing fresh or local - all prepackaged eg presliced white bread), views spoilt by electricity wires. Overall hotel was very dated and extremely overpriced relative to elsewhere in the region (We stayed in 5 places during a 10 day trip in the piedmont region and this for the price was by far the worst.) Will not be going back and would not recommend for the price.

The views are breathtaking and the food is unreal. I cannot believe the price of this place. The 8 star chef and the cameriere deserve a lot more than 13 rooms. I was blown away and we will definitely be back, but I hope I don't see you there because there are only 13 rooms. Wo!

Uskomattoman upeat maisemat ja hotellin palvelu henkilökohtainen ja huomioiva. Viinilista ja viinien säilytys, wau. Suuret kiitokset koko henkilökunnalle, aivan ihana vierailu.

Et fantastisk sted som vi vil besøge igen og igen. Super vært og persoale.

Fine og rene rom, flott bassengområde med utsikt over vinmarkene. Topp restaurant med flott utsikt og en utrolig vinkjeller. Behjelpelig og kunnskapsrikt personale. El-sykler kan leies på stedet. Gratis parkering.

Helt igennem et fantastisk ophold, service i top. Omgivelser i top. Er helt ked af at oplyse om dette sted. Når folk får øje på det, bliver det ikke til at få plads.

Questo albergo è un sogno!! Siamo arrivati e il personale sono stati molto carini con noi. La camera ha un piccolo terrazzo, e la vista è top top! Abbiamo avuto ache cena nell albergo e il cibo è stato buonissimo!!! lo racommendo molto
