Comfort Hotel Tokyo Higashi Kanda

The location is good (Near Akihabara 15 minutes) and there' is one JR station (Toei Shinjuku, Asakusa) nearby. You can take the train to Tokyo station in 10 minutes. Staffs are willing to help and answer your questions. They did offer complimentary breakfast that's a good and plus in Tokyo. The room size is ok, like US Comfort inn (200 SQ ).

Overall very pleased with the neighborhood which is safe, very well kept, clean, orderly and not busy. Walking distance to all the metro lines. Excellent complimentary breakfast every morning. No issues with indoor air quality and temperature in the rooom; it was just a tight space but very clean. Room was complete with the necessities expected by an international traveller, such as tea, desk and chair, seating area, closets, etc. Excellent option for a family with children.

Room was very basic. There was a bad odor coming from the bathroom. I asked for a room swap but noticed several of the bathrooms had a similar smell or worse. I therefore decided to stay where I was. After further investigation I realized it was from the p trap. I then poured a lot of water down it to flush it out. This helped a bit. However shortly after a person from reception came up to see if they could help. They proceeded to open up the ptrap, put their hand inside and so were trying to remove a block. They got something up and then used the shower head to flush more out. They got water and dirt everywhere in the bathroom. It was disgusting. They then used the clean bathroom towels to clean up the mess. Wiping dirt from the floor and then wiping around the sink. No cleaning fluid was used. When I told the person how this was disgusting and they needed to clean the bathroom properly he eventually agreed, but made me feel very uncomfortable. He left and then came back with more towels and cleaning fluid. He used the clean towels and cleaning fluid to clean up his pervious mess. He was however not great at basic cleaning and I was more and more uncomfortable. Several times I asked him to please just stop and leave but he would not. Eventually after lots of insisting he left. We then needed to get more clean towels as he used them again. The whole thing left me feeling very uncomfortable and I just wanted to go.

This is our second time in Japan. The room we booked at this hotel accommodated our needs quite nicely. We appreciated the room service and breakfast. We would like to thank the staff for their hard work. We look forward to staying at this hotel for our future Japan trips.

Super close to transit, lots of little restaurants in the area. Room was clean and affordable, staff was friendly and accommodating.

Staff was amazing, the customer service incredible! Overall cleanliness of the room was good. I found used dental floss on the bed headboard. Otherwise very clean. it was a 10 min walk to the train station but a nice quiet area

Great location. Right next to Akihibara without the hustle and bustle.

This was our first hotel of the trip and I can say I enjoyed it. Even though rooms were a bit small, this wasn’t too bad for two people. We had room for our luggage which was helpful, the breakfast was great and really enjoyed it! They also had light refreshments in the foyer which was nice to have after a busy day. About a 10min walk or so from local subway/metro stations. I would recommend staying here and would so again myself!

Great hotel for an excellent price. We got the Queen Size bed room and there was plenty of space to move around. It didnt felt as tight as previous hotels I had stayed in Tokyo. It is clean, it is practical, close to several tube stations. I can’t say the area is exciting but who cares when you leave in the morning and only come back to sleep? I did see some dining options that havent already eaten would have tried. Regarding the breakfast I felt it was ok, then again it is good value. There is some sort of self check in and check out that was cool but people is always eager to help. Definitely would stay again here.

Great accomodation in a quiet area but still well connected to the rest of the city. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast had a nice selection of food and the staff was really nice. I would consider book it again in the future!

The room was big (for Tokyo standards) and clean. Complimentary breakfast was great. The location is good (close to subway stations) but very quiet, with not too many dining options at night/on Sundays

Great economical hotel option with easy access to train/metro services. Staff is always smiling and helpful. Rooms are small, which is normal in Japan, and they are efficient and comfortable. Akihabara and the station are a 10-15-minute walk; Asakusa, Ginza, and Ueno are short metro rides away, and Shibuya and Shinjuku are about 20 minutes away. Everything is accessible from this location and for a much lower cost than many other hotels in Tokyo. Stayed for two weeks and only did the breakfast one day -- it's extremely popular for visitors, and therefore busy and noisy.

Wonderful place to stay, very convenient clean and very kind and friendly staff, plus an excellent complimentary breakfast and baggage lockup on the last day at checkout. Easy to get to a number of stations nearby on foot. Will stay at this hotel again!

The overall staff is ok. The rooms are very very congested.
