Highlight of our Japan trip. Incredible views, comfort, service. A luxury place to go to relax, unwind, and disconnect. Has a lovely bar, spa, and lounge area. It’s not crowded and there are also 2 public baths that were nearly empty in addition to the rooms’ private baths. Food was also excellent and it’s brought to your room.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were incredible and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was unforgettable. The dinner and breakfast exceeded our expectations. Having a private onsen was well worth the price, especially for couples. Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend time in Hakone!

We had such an amazing experience at Ryokan Hakone Ginyu! We stayed for 2 nights. We tried both the Japanese and Western breakfast, both were delicious! The staff were professional and very welcoming. They made our stay so pleasant! We had the Hoshi style room. It was spacious, clean, and well taken care of. The shower and face products were high quality. We enjoyed using them during our stay. The private open air bath is the highlight of the room, along with the amazing views. You must visit the public baths as well, they shouldn't be missed! This was our first Ryokan stay in Japan, and we were happy that we chose Hakone Ginyu. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
