Lovely hotel, helpful staff. Although not modern in any way, it has beautiful decor. Room was spacious. Comfy beds, Bathroom compact. Great view of the river, close to restaurants and the bus stop and tram are situated close to the hotel.

Old hotel that could use some new wallpaper and lights to brighten up the place. The rooms and halls give off quite a depressive feeling but it’s only to overnight so not that big of a deal. It does seem that the non-smoking rooms used to be smoking rooms as the smell lingers in the entire hotel and room. The staff are very friendly and always greet you when you enter/leave and are very helpful with taking on your luggage if you arrive early so you can explore Hiroshima. The downsides is that there is only 1 washer and dryer for the entire hotel, and that the WiFi implementation is honestly the worst I’ve seen. There are too many SSIDs with the WiFi either not working or being capped at 3Mbps that it’s straight up unusable. At it doesn’t seem to be a centrally managed system, I can imagine there is a lot of channel overlap as well and on some SSIDs you don’t even get any internet what so ever.

Well the staff is great, the location is ok. But the hotel is soo old and worn down. They really need a renovation. I would give 4 stars but the price is to high..

Nice older style hotel, convenient location easy walk to tram, station and food/shops. Room is bigger than standard for Japan which was a pleasant surprise, also has some hanging space and set of draws, which none of our other rooms in Japan have had. Has some basic facilities like washer/dryer (only 1 so get in first), microwave, etc. Fairly well known no issues with taxi's knowing the hotel.

7 stars check in by the gentleman in the reception, elegant and warm lobby, looks more to a boutique hotel rather than a business hotel, few shops near by. Room ambiance is great and i like the furniture. Basic amenities required for single business traveller with nice working space and kettle with green tea and coffee. Nice place for business travellers coming to Hiroshima
