Although non-smoking and smoking rooms are separated, there are smoking rooms next to non-smoking rooms, and non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms alternate. If someone smokes in the room next door, the smell of cigarettes will fill the room even though it's a non-smoking room.
When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was given an incomprehensible explanation that it was a corner room, so it was a non-smoking room. Furthermore, there was deodorizer in the room, so I asked her to use it.
I don't understand why I was so sad that I booked a non-smoking room, but I still had to deodorize myself every time because of the smell of cigarettes.
On top of that, I was told that since it had been a while since I checked in and they were using the room, there was nothing they could do about it. I was asked to tell them before using it, which honestly made me angry.
You can't tell until the person next to you smokes, like the smell of cigarettes coming into the room, so how can you tell them before they use it?
It was a difficult response to understand, and all I could do was laugh out loud.
