I think the average price of hotels in Izumo is quite high. Among them, I chose this hotel as it was a good value for money and was conveniently located to go to Izumo Taisha Shrine by car. There aren't many restaurants around, so I think it's a good idea to think about where you're going to have dinner before you go. The room was a Japanese style room. You must lay your own futon. I think this is a good hotel to choose if you don't need the service.

There is a large parking lot and it is convenient for cars. It's about a 30 minute drive to Izumo Taisha Shrine, so it's convenient. I stayed in a smoking room, but of course it smelled bad. Although the surrounding area is near the station, it is quiet. Breakfast is minimal with few varieties, so don't expect too much. Amenities are minimal, so it's best for women to bring what they need. The price is cheap so it's like this.

In any case, tourists from all over the country gather in Izumo around Izumo Taisha Shrine, so the Yakumo limited express train is also crowded especially on weekends. Most of them come in groups from Tokyo and other metropolitan areas for sightseeing, and because they transfer to the Shinkansen at Okayama, it gets quite crowded. As a result, there are not enough hotels in front of Izumo City Station, and they are fully booked every Saturday night. It seems like they are fully booked several months in advance.

There were several hairs from previous guests on the sheets, the bathtub was not very clean, the hotel staff were unfriendly, and the breakfast was good.
