This is a small inn located in the mountains. Since there is no elevator 🛗, If you stay in a room on the fifth floor, you will have to walk up and down the stairs. The meals were healthy and I didn't have to go full, but I was 80% full and had a well-balanced meal. (A dish without options might be a little unsatisfactory for men...) Salt-grilled sweetfish marinated in Nanban is exquisite! ︎ There is a trekking course called Oniwa Park in the back, but is it a legend? Well, it seems that bandits used to live there, so there are cute demon figurines displayed in various places around the inn! ︎ If it's around spring, I think it would be a good idea to arrive at the inn early and take a walk in the mountains behind it. Since I stayed during the cold season, I wasn't able to walk around the back mountain this time...

I used it at a dinner party. It was evening so it was dark and I was a little worried by the time I arrived. I think it would be nice if there were more streetlights. The building has a retro atmosphere overall. I was allowed to use the large hall, but the heating was not very effective and I think it was quite cold in the winter. The meals were overall well-balanced and delicious.

A great mentor in my life who taught me how to live as a man. Let's go for lunch! He came to pick me up. The car heads onto the highway without knowing where it's going. "Highway? Are you going to Yokohama Chinatown?" I joked, but the cars continued on and on to the Chuo Expressway... The person I was taken to was Iwamitei in Oniwa Onsen. The chairman takes me inside the inn as if it were his own home... Since it was a weekday afternoon, there were no other customers. You will be guided to a tatami room in the back and wait for your food. The food is served without ordering, so it seems like they have it set in advance. "It was my birthday the other day, so I wanted to celebrate it!" I was told it was a birthday surprise. It was such a pleasant surprise, and above all, I was happy with the ``feeling''. The chairman who brought me here doesn't drink alcohol when he eats, even at night. The reason seems to be that you lose the taste of the food... After the after-party, I drink normally. At the end of any shop, hot coffee is automatically served and that's it. This is the shop that Han brought me to. It was a course that wasn't on the menu. ●Botan pot ●Grilled matsutake mushrooms ●Matsutake mushroom pot rice ●Matsutake mushroom chawanmushi ●Dobin steaming ●Wild vegetable soba ●Kakuni ●Dessert It started with a boar meat hotpot that had no odor at all and was very delicious. Next is matsutake mushrooms. I heard that there was a poor harvest of matsutake mushrooms last fall, but apparently they saved them for the chairman... A course full of out-of-season matsutake mushrooms has begun. Grilled, kamameshi, dobinmushi, and chawanmushi all contain plenty of matsutake mushrooms. Among them, Kamameshi is exquisite! The ingredients were plentiful and the seasoning was exquisite. The chairman was so impressed that he ordered one for a souvenir. After feeling full and having a drink, the next step is to take a bath. You can reach the changing room by climbing the stairs of a building built on a slope. The bath with Oniwa Onsen water has a retro feel and taste. There was no one around, so I was able to enjoy the food slowly. What a pleasant surprise. It seems that he set up this trip because he knew that I like hot springs. I want to be like this guy. I learned one more thing. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for a day trip bath. It was 800 yen. You can leave your valuables in a locked locker at the entrance, then go up the stairs to find the bath. At best it's retro, at worst it's dirty. Unfortunately, there was no explanation that the open-air bath could not be used. Now, 800 yen seems a little high. The good thing was that the receptionist was very nice. I think we were able to use hand towels for free.
