Very reasonable price for my weekend stay. The room is equipped with the minimum necessary for a comfortable sleep. Recommended for anyone who wants to find pleasures outside of a hotel (Kochi has a lot of places for late night drinking!).

The location is between Kochi station and a famous bridge, Harimayabashi. Convenient. A free breakfast is fabulous. If you go to Kochi, Shikoku island, I highly recommend.

It was accessible to the shops and restaurants in the city and about a 7 min walk to the station.

連泊で２日目の清掃はいらないということにしましたが、バスタオル、タオル、歯ブラシ、ガウンは交換補充されていましたが、髭剃り、お茶の補充がありませんでした。 ペットボトルとカップラーメンのサービスは有難かったです。

フロントの方もとても親切でした。

Located a short walk (and an even shorter streetcar ride) away from the station, the Kochi Palace Hotel is ideally situated a few blocks from some of Kochi City's best attractions, mainly Hirome Ichiba and Kochi Castle. It's a great area in which to take a walk, especially in the evening after feasting at Hirome Ichiba. The hotel itself is very comfortable. Extra pillows and amenities are available in the lobby, the staff is friendly, and the bed wasn't a soft, mushy mess like in some other hotels. I wish they didn't disable the HDMI ports on the TV (as I often connect my tablet, phone, or computer to hotel TVs to watch movies, view pictures of my travels, or work), but that's really my only complaint. Will definitely stay here again during my next visit to Kochi.

The hotel is located about 5 minutes from Kochi station on foot. It is in one of the entertainment districts of the city, but still far enough that it isn't too noisy. It is only 2 minutes to the streetcar station and there are lots of convenience stores and small restaurants nearby. The rooms include wi-fi access and you can buy movie cards near the elevators if you so desire. The wallpaper in my room was a little worn out and the bed was really really hard. Those would be my only two complaints about the room. Other than that the shower was great and the air-conditioning worked well. The hotel itself has a restaurant called Ezo. It is a buffet style restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The prices are a bit high (1600 yen for lunch and 2400 yen for dinner) and don't include alcohol. However the food selection was pretty good and everything tasted amazing. They had a lot of vegetarian dishes too so you could fill up without eating meat. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Another budget hotel with great service and very clean. Walking distance from train station and major attraction. Staff had good English.
