No shuttle bus provided while the hotel is located on top of mountain and the nearest bus stop needs to climb up and down a steep hill to get there. Imagine you caring a 15kg luggage. And the staff didn’t explained the hot spring fees clearly during check in end up we need to pay extra money on it even we didn’t use the hot spring

A nice quiet and secluded place to stay, very helpful and hospitality staffs. Just one suggestion for non-driving guess (on foot), it need 11 minutes to walk from the nearest bus stop / Hakone Garassu no-mori-mae. The road is going up/ascend, it will be nice if shuttle bus provided from the bus station; and there should be a zebra crossing to the main road so more safe for pedestrian guess.

As international guests we perhaps chose the wrong place to stay for our Hakone trip, it would be better if you had your own transportation. However, the room is large and comfortable. You are provided with everything you need to cook and make your own food. There is a lot of privacy and it is quiet with a view of the geo thermal area. The bus stop is down the steep road about 7-10 minutes and from there you can get everywhere you need to. The staff were very nice, friendly and tried hard when communicating with us. Now I know the Hakone area, I would definitely stay here again. If you only have a few days maybe stay nearer to Lake Ashi.

Great stay! The place is on hillside and remote from town. You can see beautiful Hakone mountain range and Hakone ropeway (quite far away). The room is very big for my four member family with 2 twin bedroom, living area, and kitchen. All necessity are provided. You can buy groceries from town nearby (going by bus from Glass Museum) and cook in your room. It's a bit challenge to walk up and down the hillside, but is expected.

With a large living room and small kitchen and 3 bedrooms, quite different experience for the holiday. You can prepare foods and decide what kind of meals you want, that could be great for the cost.
