This place is a Japanese inn, but it's also a restaurant. The meal here is amazing! If you want to try a truly, 100 percent traditional Japanese meal - that is also vegetarian, this is the place. What surprised me was how full I was by the end of the meal. Reasonable price, amazing flavors, super healthy, AND filling. Definitely recommend this place. Order the 1450 yen meal that's in this pic of the menu. That's the meal!

I stayed here 2 nights during my bicycle trip through Kyushu. It's definitely the best ryokan where I've stayed so far. Very friendly (only japanese spoken, but google translate helps a lot) and clean. I ordered a meal with grilled fish the second night. It was delicious. I highly recommend.
