I had a lot of friends around Fujisawa, so it was nice that they could meet me at the hotel and have dinner with me. I was surprised by the wide variety of food at breakfast. All the staff were also very nice.

Staff very helpful and speak good English. Easy check in. Good communal restaurant area with microwave. Computer station. Rooms reasonable size for Japan, a little worn in places but comfortable and clean. Very close to Shonandai station - 2 min walk. Supermarkets nearby. Good place to stay when visiting Hakone as much cheaper to stay here and only an hour or so away on train. Quiet at night.

The hotel name is confusing. I thought it locates at Fujisawa, but it actually locates 20 minutes away from Fujisawa Station by using another subway. Inconvenient.

I have stayed at the Fresa several times and twice in the last week or so. I chose it because it is near my university. But more than that it is a very comfortable place to stay in Shonandai. I have found the bed very comfortable and the rooms are clean. I found the breakfast to be very healthy with a lot of vegetables and yogurt as well as eggs. It was a good way to start off the day.
