Booked to stay 3 nights Thurs till Sun to attend Rainforest World Music Fest24 with 3 other friends. Got the family 4 pax room. Elderly friend got sick due to dust from unclean old aircond, curtains, bed, room. No dustbins in room to use. No public transport available. Got to hire Maxim or Grab driver to get around or to get food. Nothing else is around this deserted old house. Kitchen was unclean. Caretaker was not given broom or mop or washing powder to clean whole house at all by owner. So sad for the caretaker. Never stay in this place again!! Cabins at the back don't have enough water to flush or shower. Nice house but neglected and not upkept properly. Not well lit Signboard when we return home after 10pm. Very dark road too.

This is a beautiful location with beautiful views. Especially if you want to hike Moutians or watch the sunsets at the beach. We did have a scooter. Booked through booking and no communication. Food we put in the fridge were taken twice. Lots of mosquitoes bring repellent. Many dogs and cats who need more food and sterilizing. Get a private room but have access to a shared bathroom and other sitting rooms. So there is plenty of space.

If you were once a village boy and now a family man in the city, you will appreciate the atmosphere.
If you are a city boy and want to experience what life was like, 2-3 generations ago, this is a place worth trying.
There are lots of mosquitoes 🦟 at specific times so I suggest you bring the 8-12 hour insect repellent.
We had a nice BBQ for 20+ village boys and families, some, we have not met since leaving school in 1982.

Lovely place. Had an accommodation near a little lake, with very nice view. The owner has a quite a few dogs and cats, good if you like them. The only things I was missing was mosquito net in windows and fan, arcon was there, but we don't like using it.

The homestay are surrounded by nature.. Really calming place.. Loved the scenery and location..
Service was good despite a hiccup from Agoda. Boss was quick to resolve the issue although busy with event..
Room are good and basic necessities are provided... The only letdown are the bed/cleanliness.. I assume the sheet are not completely clean as both my wife and I are having some bug bites/itchiness after the stay..
Other then this, I would really recommend this place for a short trip in santubong..
