The staff were friendly

The staff and other guests treated me very warmly and made me feel as though I could ask for help if needed. The resident feline added the extra cosy touch, and having a Lidl on the doorstep is a very convenient and inexpensive alternative to city restaurants.

Dutchies had everything I needed for my stay - there were always staff available, the shared kitchen and bathrooms and foyer area were cleaned regularly, and my bed ‘pod’ option was great for privacy. I also really appreciated the fast wifi and the free filter coffee!

Would be nice to have more food choices around

Para mí sigue siendo un excelente lugar , ya si vas de tránsito a otra parte y si quieres llegar a otros lados de holanda se me hace muy cerca. Sigo explorando y siguen apareciendo joyas de la ciudad.

Siempre tienen café de cortesía es genial y me encanta que en la cocina todos cocinamos y vemos diferentes platillos olores y se conocen buena gente. Es como estar en cocina de la Abuela con gente del todo el mundo y aprendes algunos sabores., Eso es un plus en estés hotel, está lejos de lo turismo sin embargo conoces y estás muy cerca sin pagará tantos km en la tarjeta o boleto.. Así que si quieres ir al lado turístico y nada original o local de Ámsterdam no te quedes acá. Por otro lado estamos cerca de una estación que es más cerca de las playas , del central station y del aeropuerto sin ir al Central Station ya que pierdes dinero y tiempo... Y si es un lugar de Transfer o de una noche , Pero sigue siendo un buen lugar.. Aún por una semana.

Para mí muy fácil conectarne por todos lados por Ámsterdam , licationnlocation location, si es que quieres conocer adentro de Ámsterdam y no lo turístico.

Muy agusto, me encanta en la area de las cenadurias turcos comida indonesia ,muy cerca de todo sin ir al centro. Aquí hay lugares muy cerca y hay restaurantes abiertos hasta la 1 am como cenadurias. Me encanta conocer gente que no son tan turísticos en su mente.

Muy contenta.. Tener que poner más entusiasmo a la limpieza y más de los baños cuando hay más gente.👍

I stayed again , just My cápsula need it a bit more clean , and overall it was great.

I was impressed by my stay overall. Would’ve been nice for them to clean the rooms at least once a day. With how many ppl in a room, the smell could be interesting

Extremely dirty and filled with shady people

My honest opinion is this place is outdated, low in overall comfort and overpriced for a hostel. I booked away from city centre as I was traveling home overseas the next day and needed my rest. I got anything BUT rest here. The walls are so thin and no one respects quiet hours here. I have stayed in many hostels, but this was the first I ever experienced being bunked with loud and disrespectful bunkmates. I was asleep before they barged into the room at 22:30 and carried on for almost 45 minutes before heading out to party. The front desk was pitiful. They told me only if they were loud after quiet hours (which apparently is 23:00 when I have only ever experienced 22:00) that could they do anything. They tried to hand me ear buds and then word for word said to me, "what do you expect, people come here to party." I took this as, "Deal with it." That does NOT make it OK for people to be disrespectful of those who are clearly trying to rest. It IS possible to get ready late and respect others trying to rest! The same bunkmates came back at 4am from being out all night and made a bunch of noise for at least 15 minutes before it quieted down. To worsen my experience, I discovered the showers turned off every 20 seconds. It was cold in the washroom and there was no way to adjust the temperature of the water. It was so hot that I could not even enjoy my shower after the little rest before traveling. Sad to say, I will not be returning to stay here.
